They printed in bold on the cover of the menu “NO MSG” & they are true to the words. I did not get thirsty after eating.I bought 2 orders. They cook while I waited. When I get home, it is still HOT. BIG portion. The meat was accompanied by plenty of vegetables. This is GENUINE Chinese cooking with salt, sugar, condiments & herbs. While the other restaurants that have changed hands are reintroducing the notorious MSG, Ga Hing is one of those last bastions that maintains the real cooking.Only AMATEUR use MSG.

Good food, especially the chow mein. You won't find better chow mein elsewhere.

Good food, inexpensive, large portions. Exactly what you'd expect, they're nailing it!

Ga Hing and Sisi's Hong Kong Cafe are probably the two best Chinese restaurants in the San Leandro and San Lorenzo area.

Very mediocre food. Orange chicken was very doughy and had an odd flavor to it. Prawns with garlic sauce was better but only 5 small pieces of shrimp. Fried rice was bland. Lady at counter was rude and it was hard to hear her through the barrier and her double masks. Please invest in a mic. Only upside was the price, but honestly not worth it.

I really like this neighborhood spot! The owners are very nice and you can show up place an order and go grab a beer at 991 Club and they bring you your meal! Very sweet people. Food is good Nd exactly what you want to eat!

Not good. We ordered several dishes, picked up the food, and brought it home to feast. Very disappointing. We wanted this place to be our go-to Chinese food restaurant, but it's a no-go and NO WAY. *Chicken Chow Mein - noodles were soggy, mushy & overcooked -- everything about this dish was bland and wrong! *Szechuan chicken - WTH .....the chicken pieces were battered, deep fried, and then drenched in a brown sauce. Because of the heavily coated batter, the chicken was pink in the middle, so OBVIOUSLY, IT WAS uncooked! We threw this dish away! *Mongolian Beef - 75% of the dish was basically sauteed onions and scallions. There were a few pieces of meat but it was not quality beef...chewy and tough. *Sweet & Sour Pork - Pork pieces were cut like beef stew pieces approx 4-inch squares, thick batter, and deep fried. We could not tell whether this dish was the Szechuan chicken or the Sweet & Sour Pork *Bok Choy with Mushrooms - it was so so. The mushrooms were cut up into big square pieces so they looked super weird. At first sight, it looked like liver pieces. All in all this place is terrible. Panda Express would have been tastier.

Excellent chow fun. Will be back for this dish. Ordered online for fast pickup. Wonderful place.

Mom and pop restaurant with good food. We order takeout from them often. They also include free fried wonton chips & crab Rangoon with your order. The only thing is for fried food like the chicken wings or other fried chicken dishes, they coat the meat with batter and fry. I don't mind but some ppl may not like that style.

Ga Hing is our go to place for food at a good price. The food is always prepared and delivered quickly. Quality food at a low price we are grateful to live so close to such a yummy restaurant.

Food is good, my son's favorite place for crispy noodles. Unfortunately tonight when I picked up my son's crispy noodle order, the lady up front was on the phone, she signaled to an old guy in the back to tend to me at the door. I made the mistake of saying chow mein instead of crispy noodle. He's obviously not from here and i had a hard time understanding him with the plastic barrier and the mask he was wearing. But from my point of view, if you can't explain something in a nice way, just dont even attempt to do it (appears like he didntlike me calling it chow mein). I wanted to reach in and slap him. The old lady was apologetic, but it still pissed me off. Watch out when you order.
