I found some photos of other custom cakes on their Yelp page that I liked, sent them over, and got an even better final result. Thanks a ton!

I was in desperate need of a cake for my daughters baby shower. My son-in-laws mom let me know a week before the party that her cake person went out of town. I knew no one would have a chance to make a two tiered cake at this point. I was able to find a simple sheet cake design and took it to lady fingers to see if they could do it. They Did!I got a sponge sheet cake with strawberries and crème filling. The outside was an ombré rose design. Aside from it looking like the pic, the cake was amazing. She used buttercream frosting and nothing was overly sweet!Disclaimer: I have no clue why we didn't take a pic of it but hope this works.

I needed a cake for my fiancées surprise party, I tried this other spot but they wanted to charge me 400$. I came to Lady Fingers because I always saw whenever I ate at the restaurant next door to them. The baker was a nice Asian lady that really listened to what I wanted and This cake spot did not disappoint AT ALLL, the cake was spot on what I wanted and it tasted good!!! I usually hate buttercream frosting but the way they made it, it was perfect. Wow I'm so impressed, this is my new cake spot. I will recommend all my family and friends to come here From now on.

Stopped here for a Black Bottom fix. Was greeted by a little person, letting me know it would be just a moment as mommy was in the back busy at the moment. So cute she was attentive to customers. Black bottom was decent. But the strawberry personal cake was a serious bust. I believe the cake was a day or two days old. The whipped cream was hard and stiff. The cake was extremely dry and brittle, it crumbled once we put the fork into it. Had to toss it, it was really that bad. Was so disappointed. $10 wasted! Giving 2 stars for the decent Black Bottom personal cake and one for the young lady who helped me. She was friendly and helpful. And half star for the child greeter. Lol.

Went in to get a small cake for a friend. The person who helped me seemed a bit annoyed by my asking what flavor each cupcake & cake was. I ended up purchasing a few cupcakes & a Strawberry Mousse cake.I wish I could say differently but the cupcakes weren't fresh tasting and dry. Not sure how the cake was because I gave it to a friend...they thanked me but never mentioned how it tasted. Eeekkk.

I found this bakery on Yelp and took a chance and ordered my son's birthday cake here. I sent a couple pictures of different sized cakes and the owner replied back with a couple quotes and said no problem. We chose one and it turned out to be the most amazing cake ever!! It was a Minecraft themed cake and it came out PERFECT!! I could not be more pleased with the design, quality, flavor and wonderful customer service. I will be ordering EVERY cake here from now on! Thank you so much, Ladyfingers Cakes!! You made my son's 7th birthday that much more special!

I ordered a chocolate cake and a dozen of cupcakes for a party. I never ordered a cake from here before, but my friends have and enjoyed it. For some reason the cake was so dry, it tasted like bad pound cake or days old cake. I was quite embarrassed to serve it to my guests. Luckily the cupcakes were good.

Definitely not a place to go for something sweet. Came here with my son while roaming around downtown and we just got two cupcakes. Barely had anything as far as cupcakes in the display case and it was around the time they opened so it's not like they ran out. It felt very unorganized inside the shop. They had just a bunch of junk everywhere and two kids screaming and goofing around behind the counter. Then you have the poor teen worker just trying to get through the day. I do not even remember what flavors I got. I know it was two cupcakes and there is a 99% chance they were bland and not worth the calories. Located in downtown San Leandro in the Pelton Center. Parking wherever you can find it. In the plaza its metered parking. Very expensive for the poor quality.
