The bread is good but pricey, the service is okay. The food not so good, I was disappointed by the pupusas. I've had pupusas at other places and this one is not a very good one. The revueltas you can't even taste the pork is mostly beans with mix vegetables. They don't even supposed to have vegetables anyway I won't be ordering food from there, just the bread for me.

Bean and cheese pupusas. When I'm eating these, I feel like Patrick when he ate his chocolate bar and forgot cause he just wanted More. I think it's cause they're not hella oily and the filling ratio is good. Curtido is also good. They have a major bread selection too. Definitely worth a visit. Try it!

I usually go to the Laney flea market on Sundays for pupusas but when it's raining I come here instead. Make sure to come a little early since it takes about 20-25 mins to get your freshly made popusas. The Popusas are tasty! They have a huge selection of bread which you can eat while you wait for your food to be prepared. I tried their horchata which tasted quite different from ones I've tried. It had its unique flavor. I also tried their milkshakes which were pretty good. Overall I give this place a 4/5 just because I feel like they should fill up their popusas a bit more.

The baked goods here are 5 stars! DELICIOUS!! The bread pudding is to die for! If you are in the area definitely grab a box of baked goodies, you won't be disappointed. The prices are very fair for their baked goods. Now to the pupusas. Mind you my grandmother owned her own pupseria in El Salvador and in Los Angeles, so I know a good pupusa! The pupusas here are on the verge of being the best in the east bay if they just add a bit more filling. When I visited the flavor was on point but it was just too much masa and not enough filling. I also suggest eating there at the restaurant because if you take it home you'll end up with a soggy pupusa due to the condensation from being in a small box while piping hot. I also had the yucca con chicharron (fried cassava and pork rinds) which was a 3 at best. The yucca had no flavor and the chicharron was tough and dry.The service here is not the best and the staff can come off as rude. I was in line to place my order and was completely ignored, another customer walked in after me and their order was taken before mine. I had been there waiting for the past 5 - 10 minutes. The prices are fair ($3 per pupusa) but would maybe suggest upping it to factor in more filling in the pupusas.

Not impressed with pupusas. Size & price of pupusas were the standard. However the masa was dry. Very little filling. In fact many bites of pupusas were just masa. A few positive notes, curtido was good as was the service and the business is definitely Salvadorean. I called in advance and food was ready when I arrived. I will stick to Rositas in Newark for pupusas and may try this place again for pandulce and other Salvadorean goodies.

Yes yes yes. only reason why this place did not get five stars was because there was not as much filling on the inside of the pupusa than normal and the prices were kind of high. Besides that it was really crispy and very big i inhaled 3 of them and yes they were so bus.

Like always they take long for the food and I wanted to order a cake but they said they were too busy to take orders.

You cannot go wrong with puspusas if you love cheese and corn. I got 2 pupusas with cheese and zucchini! They were delicious! There were baked well and freshly made on the daily here as well. I spoke broken spanish to the lady over the phone and she figured out what I was saying. Try to brush up on your high school spanish before ordering over the phone, or just go in person. Even with the language barrier the overall experience was still pleasant. This was my second time here and it was super good! I ate them before I got any pics (sorry not sorry). Along with pupusas they give you a cabbage salad and red salsa, so good! Def recommend this place!

This place sells some great pupusas but the staff lacks good communication skills. They do not know how to treat or great their customers and they lack in giving you the basic needs with an order such as napkins and spoons/forks.

My go-to pupusas are the revuelta and queso. The pupusas are not overly cheesy or salty, and are never dry. I usually call in my order and everything is ready to pick up in 30mins.

I think this is a great place to get Salvadoran food and pasties. The place offers the kitchen and bakery, it also has room to dining inside and outdoors.

Nope! So disappointed. The Pupusas were dry and had big chunks of peppers? You have let your ancestors down. Que verguenza!

Pupisas! Pupisas! Pupiusas! Revueltas are fantastic, and the loroco wasn't bad either. Pupusas are made on site to order and are perfectly stuffed. Only complaint is they didn't give enough cabbage and the utensils were strong enough to cut through the food, but this will absolutely be a grab and go spot on those nights I can't bring myself to cook. Bring cash as they charge a 3%+ cc fee, but this is such a good, local spot to support!
