Kind of sad to see this place closed down and got replaced by Mochinut. Food was good, but they were cash only. I made the mistake of only bringing card, which was more trouble for them. It was good while it lasted.

The food price is expensive than other Korean restaurant and portion is much small. I feel the food is not healthy as suppose, taste something unusual, maybe too much marinated idk. Here is our $70 food for two.

Was around the area in san leandro and decided to get something togo. Was hesitant at first because i needed to drive back to the city but, all the chicken wings and fries were still really crispy and flavorful! Got the parmesan furikake wings and the thai chili peanut sauced wings. Flavors were on point, exactly what i was expecting. the blue lemonade was alright, i think the lemon itself made it a bit bitter but everything was great!

Had to get this for take-out, but the inside was nice and had two tables for outdoor seating. Food was great and had the right amount of spice! My partner and I will come again and eat in-person :,)

Thank god for Maejoo Wings! It's so hard to find a quality wing spot these days but I've ordered from here 3 times and I'm hooked. They offer wing flavors that tons of "personality". I've ordered the sweet chili, lemon pepper dust, and parmesean furikake dust. The wings are pretty big, always well seasoned/flavored, and moist on the inside. Also, the Maejooslaw is . It's a very flavorful kale "salad" with a little kick. It's so good, that my wife and I each get our own separate order or Maejooslaw b/c we don't want to share, lol

The food was incredible, but the service is not great. We arrived at 9:15PM and closing is listed at 10PM. We ordered right when we arrived as we were aware the kitchen would be closed at 9:45PM. At 9:50PM. The middle aged woman who was working the register was telling us that they are already closing and rushing us. She also wasn’t kind to begin with.

Wow!!! This small eating establishments has big time amazing wings!!! I've been to Korean wing restaurants and other wing chains, but Maejoo is the best I've ever had!!! The menu is simple. There's only a few tables inside. I ordered the Maejoo Plate which comes with 6 wings (up to 2 flavors), sesame dressed salad, kimchee, lava pickles, and the option to add a fried egg. (Get the egg!)I picked their best seller, Honey Soy, and the Parmesan Furikake. OH. MY. GAWD!!! These chicken wings are packed with flavor and so delicious! It's coated with the sauces yet still remained crispy! I ate my whole plate. I will bring my whole family here! So yummy, I'm still thinking about it.

Cute place with well presented food. Prices reflect the Korean Fried Chicken trend. The fried chicken is solid; crispy, with flavorful coatings. Staff is friendly and quick. Seating is limited with maybe 20 seats inside and another 6 outside.

I have been wanting to try Maejoo for quite some time now but never got a chance to go. Hubby's friend had told us about Maejoo and how he really liked their wings so we decided that we'll go after we delivered the order that we had. Upon arrival we noticed how small the restaurant is and that there are not many places to sit. We were immediately seated and they gave us a menu to look at. Hubby and I decided to go with the medium size wings, parmesan furikake fries, and an ocean blue lemonade. For the wings we got the honey soy and the Thai chili peanut with coconut flakes. Hubby said that there wasn't a lot of flavor to the wings but I thought it was just the right amount of flavor where it wasn't too strong and it wasn't bland. We liked that the wings were crispy. We'll probably come back to try their other flavors but I know there are other places where we prefer to go to instead.

I gotta give Maejoo 5 Stars, there's so many reasons why I love coming here. They're always consistent with their food and service. The wings here at Maejoo are delicious, fresh every single time. Price range is definitely on the affordable side. They have so much other delicious food as well, rice bowls, rice cakes with fish cake! I honestly love their food, I definitely recommend specially if you like spicy food! Food isn't the only thing that's outstanding, their customer service is really good, and they're super clean! I can go on about them forever tbh!

I really want to love this place. The ambiance is super relaxing and cute. But the food is kinda greasy and over priced.

I ordered the Chicken and Egg bowl. The flavors were amazing. It comes with a house pickled kimchi that is seasoned perfectly. Not too spicy and not too much vinegar. The price is well worth the serving size.

I never thought in my life that I would have Parmesan furikake wings, but I sure did, and they were just spectacular tasting as you might think. The thing that I admire most about it is that in so many wings, the detail was put into each wing where they were dusted with Parmesan and furikake so there were no wings at all that were "bottom of the bag" nice hot and crispy in the outside and juicy chicken on the inside. Can't wait to try the other flavors!

Was looking for some crispy flavored wings and Maejoo popped up. Upon arriving seemed 50/50 but the best wings ever sign and pictures sealed the deal. I ordered the 6 piece combo with the salad which was amazing and the rice with some pickled radish on the side. My first bite into the wings I immediately realized the chicken experience might be downhill for the rest of my meal. I would NOT recommend this at all. Chicken tasted dirty and old under there bland flavors and tasty names. The staff was polite but me and my cousin both looked at each other and felt sick after forcing ourself to try our other flavors at least. We had the worst taste in our mouth. The salad is what earned them the one star.
