The Tonkotsu Ramen is delicious! So far the best in San Leandro!

Great ramen. I had the chicken ramen in the veggie broth. My friends had the seafood ramen and tonkotsu ramen. We all liked it. The spice was also perfect.Vegetarian options: Vegan ramen option is available and taste is good.

Was looking for some food and saw this place had good reviews. Unfortunately, it was a miss for me. I got the tonkotsu ramen and it wasn't very good. The broth was okay but had a weird after taste which I think was from the old bean sprouts on top. The pork slices were thin, small and rubbery. Food was really quick as it was completely empty inside. I think the speed might have been for the worst. Nothing to note about the service, cashier took my order and asked about spiciness level and that was it.

We ordered tonkatsu and miso ramen. Soup base is quite plain compared to many other ramen places we had been to. But for a quite crave of ramen, this would do.I do like their fried squid tentacles, big portions with reasonable price.

Chipper cashier, seriously excellent cooking, a bit high priced but quality, best unexpected dish is the oysters. Only minus I could find was lack of visible trash and by the door.

Mediocre , quite flavorless. Eggs overcooked and cold.

I order to go a couple items from the menu, the Black Garlic Ramen, Kara-age and gyoza. I opted to make the ramen spicy it wasn’t spicy at lot had a lot of flavor but it tasted something kinda burnt so I’m not sure if that it’s always like that or not but over all I did like the ramen. The chicken Kara-age was so good specially when it was dipped in the spicy mayo. The gyoza were really good crunchy but soft and lots of flavor.

The ramen is mediocre at best, I'd even go closer to nasty. The only reason I'd even give it two stars is because it's easily accessible. The people who work here are really nice though.

Ok. So this review is going to be a little schizophrenic. I actually annoyed the ramen here. I think it was tasty and fresh. The Ramen has a lot of good toppings/ingredients including bamboo shoots, bean sprouts and a generous amount of green onions. My husband, however, did not enjoy the food. He is a ramen snob, and he rightfully pointed out that the noodles were overcooked. They should have a bouncier or al dente texture. He also found the miso broth to be very light in flavor. We both liked the Chicken Karaage. The service was efficient, if a little rushed. The place has a nice dinning area, that seem spacious in spite of the smaller size of the restaurant. Overall, I would recommend this spot, but Ramen aficionados have now been warned.

Not the worst spot in San Leandro. I've been to their other locations in the East Bay for a quick lunch. The broth could be hotter, but get the lunch job done.

If I could give less than 1 star, that would be my actual star rating. This place was EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTING. One minute after placing my order, my ramen was brought to my table. The texture of the noodles was off, and the broth was no better than water. My grilled squid was cold and chewy. The meal was so bad that I couldn't even finish it. I will never step foot in that place again.

WHY THIS PLACE SHOULD BE A THREE:(I tried two bowls to compare)- This may be the best in the area, but I’ve tasted better quality and flavor elsewhere. I can taste the carelessness in their soup base.- Tastes bland and plain. Nearly tastes like water in comparison to authentic ramen.- Too expensive. $25 a bowl.- Smells plain.- No music in-store.- Employees are nice and sweet.Try bowls other than the Seafood and Chicken.
