It was my first visit to this lovely, clean, and upstanding Mexican restaurant located right at the border of San Leandro and Oakland on E.14th St. the lunch was delicious and well presented. Our first time here for lunch, it was recommended by my yoga practitioner. We were greeted with chips and salsa, yum! Hubby had the tamale and crispy steak taco with rice & tasty beans. I had the steak enchilada and tamale with rice and beans. Both entrees came out piping hot on large rectangular platters. I asked for the mole, that's why we stopped by and it was bueno. Omg the ozone and Menudo in this restaurant are so so good. It really did make me feel like I was back in Mexico in a small little restaurant. The service and food are great. The food is coming out piping hot. You can tell they make it fresh and to order. The rice and beans taste home made and the ceiling in this place is a true piece of art.
