Greatest pizza in East Bay since Tony closed his pizza shop Pyzano's in Castro Valley in 2008 or so. So worth a drive over, edges out the other spots like Bronco Billy's or Porky's if you know good East Bay pizza spots this place beats them all if you don't want to go all the way out to SF.

Slice house should be ashamed of themselves for charging $8/slice at this size and quality. The slices are reheated and the slice I was served was dried out and burnt on the bottom. The sauce is extra sweet, like they accidentally added too much sugar. I understand the cost of ingredients has gone up, but absolutely nothing about what I was served was worth $8. It was a basic slice with below average tasting sauce, cheese and crust and it didn't even have premium toppings. And was reheated at that. What a waste of money.

Some of the best pizza around. I love the Popeye the best! I always just ordered anywhere local but now I'm stuck on The Slice House.

The best bbq chicken pizza ever. Friendly people busy but we like to sit at Bar. So many choices and the Beverage choices are good.

This place has really gone to crap! 98.00 for 2 small pizzas and a salad! Pizzas are soggy and look like they were done by a 4 year old! Salad, cheese was so thick you couldn't eat it salad like, lettuce wilted. Dressing runny like water! The 8.00 bread I paid for, they make it all sound inviting but it's smoke and mirrors folks. The bread was some cheese slapped on and a hard roll like a hoagie roll out of a plastic bag! Hopefully they don't bring this quality to Castro Valley location, it will never survive here. Care alittle about your quality, do you even do quality control there?

I heard and also read good things about this place. After receiving my GrubHub order, I can see why the ratings are high The food is absolutely delicious everything is fresh and flavorful . It's clear they are normally fresh but quality products used for the cooking and salad making . If you haven't been there or ordered food from there, give them a try and you will be glad you did I'm not much of a pizza eater, but I will say I would definitely get some again. Bon appétit

I was not expecting much since pizza is pizza, but when I stepped into this place, the pizza options looked so good. Our service was terrific, and the sodas they had were made with cane sugar. The ambiance is like a typical sit-down for pizza, but the seating is excellent and has a great blend of larger tables to smaller tables.

We got in 1/2 hour before closing and ordered a small Grandma and 1 slice of Woods Favorite. We ordered two fountain drinks. The were no bubbles in our Diet Cokes! Flat soda never ever ever works. Ever. They refunded the soda money. My wife gave it one star after tasting pizza sauce on the small Grandma she ordered. I tasted it and it was extremely sweet. Was like no other pizza sauce I ever tasted. I didn't like it either. Like they added triple sugar to the recipe. My slice looked real good but was only warmish.. the cheese was not melted and the closer to the center I ate, the colder (yes cold) it got. The only reason they get two stars is because I own an air fryer and was able to bring my slice back from cheese riga mortis. And the Woods Favorite is a really good pizza slice. It had a different sauce than my wife's pizza. There were no cans of soda options. The guy at the counter was nice enough but it still cost me 50 for some pizza that my wife didn't enjoy. 3 of 4 slices are going to the can. It became apparent that they wanted to display that they were closing at 8. After a small group left the bar, only us and another group of 5 remained. TV off, shut it down. I get it. You want to go home. I would simply suggest to incoming customers arriving at 7:30 or later, that they take their order to go. We felt kinda rushed and you should have known about the nasty soda drink by the time got there. Shame! I really hate leaving negative reviews but this visit was a fail. Wife says we're not going back.

Anne The 20 inch 20" Combo Americano was lovely and jaw droppingly large and beautiful. We felt spoiled and treated. The GF 13" Hawaiian Hit Man paled by comparison but was still tasty good quality toppings. Very accommodating nice lady on phone when we called. They should add something like roasted red bells or sprinkled green onion or something to make the GF person not feel so much like a redheaded stepchild! Check them out we got the NY style crust

Yesterday, I was served the worst pizza from this place I have eaten there. Normally the pizza is delicious. I ordered a small pizza. The pizza seemed like it had been made early, probably to be sold by the slice. I literally live 3 minutes down the street and by the time I got home the pizza was barely warm. I learned a value lesson. When I order pizza from Slice House order the large so they can make it fresh.

Walk in here with my brothers and son. Was not busy at all. Always wanted to try this spot since I heard the reviews for all the folks that live in SL. Atmosphere was great, felt homey. Service was great since the guy was very patient. I’ll be honest I did not know what I wanted. They did had some display by the slices. Detroit paesano caught our attention. We also went with their recommend pie they referred. Took the food home and took pics of it. Now for the actual taste. Tried the recommended pizza first. Crust was awesome, crunchy, chewy. The sauce was a sweet marinara, and they had fresh mozzarella. Fresh mozzarella was delicious but I’m not a fan of the marinara.overall I’ll rate that pizza a 6/10. Now for that Detroit pizza. The first bite was divine, savory marinara sauce with pepperoni, meat ball, mushrooms. It was also like a deep dish pizza. It was definitely on point, crispy ,crunch ,chewy crust. 8.5/10, 9/10 when I added their crush red pepper to add a really decent kick.

The pizzas were amazing! They are not your typical pizza place, their flavor combinations and the choices of dough style will truly make you want to come back for more....I should call it "experience". Prices were decent as well and if you dine in, sodas come with free refills. If you like beer, they do have an extensive selection of both local and imported varieties. The only downside for me, if you can even consider it a downside is the availability of seating. If you plan on coming as a large group, pick a nice day and enjoy outdoor seating since the inside isn't that big and the tables are relatively small. But definitely worth the drive to downtown San Leandro with its challenging parking situation. Go during the weekdays for lunch so it's less busy as well. Will surely be back with the family next time.
