I've always liked Taqueria Los Pericos, they have several locations and I've only ever been to this one. Plus in Oakland/San Leandro/East Bay there are several taqueria options in restaurant or truck forms.I've always enjoyed this place. I usually order their burritos, I'm a bigger fan of burritos than tacos. I usually get their super burrito with al pastor (grilled pork) or shrimp, their super burrito comes with more ingredients like guacamole and sour cream.They have a chip and salsa station which I really enjoy.When I've gone there and ordered for-here, they have a pretty big staff and turnaround orders really quick.They have plenty of seating inside and I've never not been able to find a seat.

One of the best Mexican food restaurants in the Bay Area! I prefer the Pelton Center location. It's so busy that the food is always fresh and tasty! You never wait long to receive one of the best, filling, and delicious meals you will find in San Leandro! If you are short on time and need a yummy meal fast, you won't be disappointed when you visit Los Pericos!

I've been coming for years, and this is the 1st time I'm writing a review for this place!!! So far everything I had here was very good and authentic. From their tacos to the burritos. The campechana is always fresh with shrimp and octopus. Both the shrimp and fish ceviche is also fresh and top with lots of pico de gallo. They give you a very generous portion. The Caldo De Res(Beef Soup with veggies) is my favorite!! Very flavorful, and a beef is very tender!

We go here every time we visit Santa Cruz. California burrito is the way to go! Absolutely delicious. And what makes any taqueria is their choice of salsas. And you can fill your own without getting a glare. Fantastic!!

I'm absolutely thrilled to share that this charming Mexican restaurant has become my go-to spot in the Bay Area. It's not the most upscale venue, but it wins you over with its genuine, mouth-watering Mexican cuisine. It's our tradition to bring out-of-town guests here, and they're consistently impressed. The restaurant itself is quite roomy, boasting recently upgraded tables, floors, and fixtures. The generous portion sizes often mean I get to enjoy delicious leftovers the next day, a rarity for me. Every visit here is a delightful experience that never fails to satisfy my cravings.

Nothing of what we ordered had any salt! Deeply disappointed. It's like they threw away the salt and seasonings in the kitchen. Bland rice, beans, lengua, fajitas. Only saving grace was their red and guacamole salsa, which also needed salt.
