Got a 14 inch beauty today and a 7 inch to go with her sandwiches were epic! Flavor was fresh and delicious! The young man I spoke with was respectful and the environment was clean and excepting. Would definitely recommend this sandwhich shop! Ask about the chipotle mayo and the pesto sauce.

I grew up in templeon, so if you knowwww t town , you KNOW the market and deli SLAMS for chicken and mojos....just moved to SLO...Ben FRANKLINS SLAMSSSSSSS with chicken an mojos ! I will be back :) took a nice stroll downtown today and walked in and grabbed some fpod.. so cute and inexpensive.

Oh goodness! I just had the best experience... from customer service to food. I had a Too GooD To Go order to pick up. It was my first time At Ben Franklin's and I've been wanting to try it. I walked in and it's a cute little shack of a restaurant with tables inside and out- and smells divine. The man that was inside was super nice! For my Too Good To Go he made me a cold Italian sandwich. I shared it with my friend in a parking space on Marsh sweet. We both took a bite and just looked at each other and sighed. This was the best sandwich we had ever eaten. The roll was warm and fresh- i think it was French bread- I'm not good with bread names- the veggies were super fresh and the meat combination was tasty. It's a huge sandwich. They had potato salad, macaroni salad- and I saw they serve fried chicken. I will definitely be back. I have no photos cause I ate everything... sorry.

Worst sandwich place in slo.I’ve ordered here twice, the first time I got Ben’s California sandwich and it wasn’t the best but it wasn’t the worst.This time I went with family that wanted to try a new place against by advice.They gave us some potato wedges for free and for good reason; they were bland and made with what tasted like rancid grease, so we tossed them.I got the daily special and my brother got an Italian. Mine tasted old, overly salty and somehow bland at the same time. My brother thought his was alright but the cashier (a middle-aged guy) added two charges for extra meat, which my brother never specified.
