When I came in, the guy was not paying attention during my order and was making side conversations. After I ordered my food and coffee, I checked in about my food because it had already been 10-15 minutes and felt as if I was bothering them by asking and they said they hadn't even put it in. Waited until it was ready. There was no apologies. I had left a tip during my payment but regret it because I was not given the regular attentive service that was expected. Bummed because I used to love this place!

This place has really good coffee and pastries! I've tried their chocolate croissant and lemon loaf. My favorite coffee is their dark roast ?

I prefer this location- better parking. I can only review their Caramel Freeze and it's delicious! We love to put a shot affogato on it (on top after it is blended). One time they were out of their coffee brew and couldn't make us one when we were in town.Ssince we weren't in a hurry we went to the other location downtown.

I understand that iced coffee is typically coffee brewed beforehand, chilled and iced. Not at BlackHorse! At least when I went, my “iced coffee” was hot coffee poured over ice. The guy dumped out some of the coffee-water mixture and put more hot coffee in the cup. For $3.50 I got a cup of watery, lukewarm coffee. Not sure if this is general practice at BlackHorse or if it was this fellas first day on the job. Genuinely felt like I got scammed. I do not write very many reviews but the people gotta hear about this.

Cute caffe with nice vegetarian options. However, the young, rude college girls that work there don't know anything about customer service or basic manners. In addition to waiting 15 minutes for my 1 small coffee, while there were only a few people on line, the girls were busy hating with each other and had no concern for waiting customers. There was no " thank-you," or personalization , just a call out of the coffee order. Why do people tip? It's supposed to be for good service or above what they are already getting paid for. More people should tip AFTER their order is complete and not just a pos. They should hire more mature help.

It was a nice visit, the establishment was quiet, despite that my order was mixed up, but it was still good.

Found out about Blackhorse on Broad through the app TooGoodToGo! We got their surprise bag which was filled with 4 goodies! It had a blondie, strawberry oatmeal cookie, chocolate croissant, and a scone! All were so delicious, especially the chocolate croissant. Definitely would want to go in and have their pastries fresh next time!

First time trying on way back from dentist. The coffee was really good. I had a vanilla honey cinnamon latte. It was only $5.70. Great price for delicious coffee. I will go

Needed a place to work for a few hours so I dropped into the Blackhorse Coffee shop on Broad St - Great coffee, yummy muffins and super service. Their Wi-fi was fast and easy to access and the overall atmosphere was great. Highly recommend!

Coffee was good. Definitely a huge lack of customer service. When my drink was made and ready. I didn't hear the barista clearly so I asked if this was my drink and when I ask if it was the mocha I ordered she gave me a rude look and rude response as if I was bugging her. Will not go back due to unfriendly baristas. Not very welcoming.

My review would have been worse but the latte tasted pretty good. Whoever is managing that shop isn't doing a good job. They need to do better with staying up on inventory. It's been 2 weeks since they have had oat milk. How is that possible? There's literally a vons down the street. The staff are friendly , but whoever is managing the place needs to do a better job
