A fantastic place to taste through more interesting and smaller producers local to the central coast, and a great knowledgeable and friendly staff to help in picking or tasting wines.

What a great find in the charming town of San Louis Obispo. The young lady who helped us took her time to make sure we knew all the different options available. There were so many wines to choose from and she was super knowledgeable on all of them, while taking into account our preferences. We ended buying 5 bottles and enjoyed them over a fun girls weekend camping in a vineyard. Perfection! Bonus: they are very dog friendly and even let my dog choose her favorite wine lol.

A nice stop during a girl's weekend in San Luis Obispo! We did the tasting and also learned about a fun camera app by the pourer Makenzie! The pic was taken through the app.

I've been going to CCW since 2017 back when Bob Ritchie owned it. Everyone loved Bob. However, Miya is absolutely amazing and has done an incredible job since she took CCW over 2+ years ago. She's significantly expanded the wine selection, remodeled, brought in some small bites of food, and has clearly placed tremendous value on customer service. We have also watched Mckenzee blossom into a confident, kind and knowledgeable employee who consistently nails our palate! Miya and her team are very special. I truly love this place. If you're a local who has never been or someone just passing through SLO town, I highly recommend checking it out. I'm confident you will greatly enjoy it!

Came for wine tasting. Flight of 4 for $18 or flight of 6 for $26. You can choose which of the open wines to try. Cute shop, good wine, a tiny selection of natural wines. They have a good selection of snacks if you're hungry.

I love to pop in here to have a glass of wine on my way to or from a downtown activity. I can just tell them my mood and to pick a wine to match it, and they do. PLUS, I get a little lesson in viticulture with every glass.

This delightful wine shop and tasting bar has a sizable collection of regional and local wines, including sparkling. If you're visiting downtown, Central Coast Wines is like a little oasis where you can take a breather, try amazing wines, and relax. There is a welcoming tasting bar at the back of the shop where you can typically enjoy a guided tasting for 4-6 rotating local wines. A small, but impressive food menu and several packages meats, cheeses, and olives are also available. The shop regularly hosts local winemakers to pour and discuss their wines. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, particularly the owner Miya, who is passionate about wine and winemaking, and a certified sommelier. Bottle prices are very fair. Whether you're looking for a fun afternoon or evening tasting wines, or looking to pick up some bottles, this wine shop is among the best on the Central Coast.

Mia has the best wine shop we've encountered. We often visit wineries, but this place is unique. It's one spot where you can find wines you probably wouldn't otherwise. We've stopped twice now, tried about 12 wines? so far and they were all delicious. What's cool about this spot, is they focus on supporting local winemakers, giving you the opportunity to try quality wines you may typically not find elsewhere. Today went tried two very different wines from anything we've had before, and left with a trip planned to visit a winery we now know because of this place. Thank you Mia (and Mackenzie!) for your wine tips, and kindness every time we're here. See you soon!

Highly knowledgeable staff with an Owner/Buyer whom is very hands on to the demands of the local wine customers. Always has incredible domestic and international selection if wines, beer and cider. Always find a gem here at phenomenal pricing. Not to mention, they are a licensed wine bar where you can go through an ever changing flight or just stop through to grab a glass! If you like wine, you owe it to yourself to stop in and pick up a favorite or try something new!
