Amazing. In town for a soccer tournament and it came up in Yelp since I probably have eaten lots of Peruvian food before. Nestled inside a liquor store don't be fooled The food is as good or better than any fancy silicon Valley Peruvian restaurant. Tables and comfortable. Nice people. You order at the counter. My wife had Loma Saltado The meat was very tender. I had a chicken sandwich and my son had the sandwich also very tasty. bread was really good too. We had a side of ceviche which was packed with shrimp and fish. Authentic drinks too not just inca cola but others from Lima. Even some nice grocery items like aji Amarillo and rocoto pepper paste. Lastly some Andean crafts and clothing items.

We had their food at a wine bar in SLO and it was a perfect pairing! We had the ceviche and the fried rice.

What an amazing experience! My husband and I tried the lomo salteado and the pork sandwich, it was amazing. The Chef had an amazing personality and was super kind. She informed us about her catering, and hopefully soon I can have a get together and use her services.

The food was delicious. The service was even better. It was our first time eating Peruvian food and the host gave us all the information we needed to make great choices and everything was exceptional.

The lomo saltado with beef was sadly not good. The beef was very chewy--I couldn't eat most of it. The overall flavor was off for me --too much of something I couldn't pin point. My family had the mushroom rice dish which was good. The place is inside a mini mart of sorts and there's a couple of tables inside but you can eat outside in the parking lot--there's some tables there as well. I didn't care too much for the ambiance but the lady taking the order was nice. Perhaps it was just an off day but I wouldn't return since there's so many other places to eat and for cheaper.

Great little hole-in-the-wall place with amazing food! My kids and I got three different dishes and loved them all. Great customer service and the lady was very friendly and sweet.

I have not tried the restaurant yet. But we will soon. The review here is for the nice young man who was working last Sunday. My oldest son and I stopped in for sodas and candy. I had spent the afternoon exploring downtown and teaching my autistic son how to use crosswalks and avoid traffic. The cashier was sweet and patient with us while my son walked off while I tried to pay. We will be regular customers from now on. It is refreshing to find compassion and understanding here in SLO—5/5 star friendliness.

What an odd little gem. The owner/chef is delightful and committed to making stellar Peruvian food for you. My husband and I sampled many of the dishes including Lomo saltado (steak), Chaufa and Senor ceviche. My favorite was the Lomo saltado, which was teaming with rich flavors and textures. The Chaufa had smaller pieces of meat and less intense flavors, but was good. The ceviche had great flavors, but was a bit too salty. My friend also had the special Aji ammarillo chicken, which was tasty. As others have mentioned, it is in a liquor store, so do not come expecting a full service sit down menu. It is great for take out or dining out in the parking lot or park across the street. Ironically (even though it is in a liquor store), they do not have a liquor license for your to consume alcohol on the premises, so you must take the food elsewhere if you want to enjoy your beverages with it. I want to go back and try her paella and empanadas on the weekends!

Great food. I would definitely come back! I had the chaufa with seafood and my boyfriend had the pork sandwich. The food was hot, fresh and delicious.

Bad experience with this negotiation. Its theme is my beloved Country and it boasts of the culture of my country. But it is false, I am a compatriot of yours He was scammed and despised, everything was already arranged to work in his restaurant but then he simply changed plans and as if nothing for her and her super businesses, all arrogance, he didn't even reply to my messages, learn to be truly humble, not only for your client.Bad experience with this businessIts theme is my beloved country and it boasts of the culture of my country. But it is false, I am a compatriot of yoursHe was scammed and despised, he was already all set to work in his restaurant but then he simply changed his plans and as if nothing for her and her super business, all arrogance, he didn't even reply to my messages, learn to be truly humble, not only for your clients.

Unfortunately on this Sunday... our food was not amazing. The cook was very nice... the food just was not great. It was edible but nothing to write home about. My friend ordered the chicken fried Peruvian rice that should have also had the taste of ginger. My friend said it tasted like leftover fried rice cooked in soy sauce. That was the only flavor. There wasn't much chicken... the fried egg and line made it ok. The veggies (peppers) didn't seem fresh. It just tasted like leftovers, sadly. I wanted the quinoa salmon dish. Not available today. Salmon salad was available. I got it. The sauce was tasty. Salad fresh, with cranberry and orange slices. Tiniest piece of salmon I've ever had (given the price, Definitely not 4oz.) but it tasted good. It was a petite fresh meal.
