Came to Fat Cats for breakfast. My husband had the Corned beef hash special and was not disappointed. It was a hefty serving. I had a basic breakfast. It's a small cafe with a beautiful view of the Harbor. Always a must stop.

That was the best omelet I've had in a long time. The French fries were perfect, also the best I've had in a long time. The only downside was the fact that it was raining and we had to eat inside. The acoustics inside are awful. Go when it's sunny and eat outside. It's located within a harbor that has plenty of charm.

We just had a lovely and delicious breakfast at Fat Cats Cafe. The seafood omelette was amazing. It was full of delicious seafood including crab, shrimp and lobster. The potatoes on the side were also tasty. A shout out to our food server Zack who recommended the omelette and gave us amazing service. Even though it was very busy at the cafe, Zack was always attentive, smart, and anticipating our needs. We will definitely come back the next time we are at Avila Beach.

Walked from our Duplex for a nice early dinner. We were seated right away. Seating was also available outside with lots of heaters. A waiter came and took our drink orders right away and then another waiter came by a few minutes later for our food orders. The special was Chile Rellenos which we all ordered. This meal was absolutely delicious as was the rice and beans that came with it. We all agreed we would order this dish again. Nice evening at Fat Cats.

My wife and I have been to FAT CAT'S several times in the last few years. It has never been crowded and the staff has always been very friendly. On our most recent trip in February on a Monday at about 4:30pm, we sat outside near the space heaters, as it was cold inside the restaurant and warmer outside with the heaters. We had the Salmon salad and Chicken fried steak. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and the portions were huge. The salad was fresh and the salmon was hot. The chicken fried steak meal was hot too. The food was excellent as was the service from our waiter OSVALDO. The restrooms are clean. There is plenty of free parking. We will surely return in the future.

This awesome little gem my boyfriend and I found on our way out of town has all the bells and whistles. We ate out on the patio and it was wonderful. The food was excellent as was the service. We split the seafood omelet and added biscuits and gravy. Too much to finish.We'd love to go back on another trip there and try their lunch.

Cost me $75 for a chicken sandwich, the basic egg plate and nachos. Then when my daughters asked about refills on their hot chocolate they brought them out but no one said anything about zero free refills so it cost me $20 in hot chocolate. My coffee was room temp and i had a minimum amt of creamer. My toast was cold when they buttered it so my butter never melted and the chips on the nachos were already soggy when it was brought to the table. Not worthy of the location in my opinion nor obviously the high cost of food that wasn't even extravagant. Very disappointed.
