Mid BBQ. The service was fantastic but the flavor lacked smoke. The ribs were not falling off the bone both spare and beef. The part that made me cry was that the tritip was smoked then sliced and then grilled after like carne asada. It was a crime against humanity. The bbq sauce was real good though and at least they used seasoning. Food was very reasonably priced.

The restaurant itself, has a large eating area, was a bit warm inside at the time!!! Windows have no shades, the parking lot is small, and there is 1 handicapped spot. Staff is not very engaging or outgoing!!! Seems like they hate their job, or that's the vibe given!!!! I git the chicken n rib combo. For a smokehouse, bbq no smokey round here!!!! Sauce was OK, cornbread was good, and potato salad was awesome!!! My wife had a pulled pork sandwich, and she said it was not bad. Limited beer selection for IPA's, well stocked Cerveza's Medelo's, Tecate, Corona, etc. It's a good quick bite, but there are many like this. It did not stand apart from the crowd!!!! Stopped here for breakfast. Won't make that mistake again. Not a fan of the oily sheen on the english muffin of my breakfast sandwich. I know eggshells sometimes get in eggs. I prefer not to see them on the surface. The bacon did not pass the cooked test. Why is it necessary to mash hash browns thinner than the pancakes? Why are the biscuits toasted on an oily grill? The food was inedible. Probably explains why so few people were there on a Sunday morning. I'm sure there are better places in the area. Go there.

Steer clear of the G. Brothers Smokehouse food truck on campus at Cal Poly if you value your digestive health. I recently had the misfortune of indulging in their Carolina pulled pork sandwich, only to be rewarded with excruciating stomach pains that left me bedridden for hours. This isn't the first time I've experienced such unpleasantness after a meal from their truck. Avoid this vendor at all costs unless you're looking for a guaranteed gastrointestinal disaster.

Don't eat here, they say it's barbecue but it's not. I ordered the barbecue chicken sandwich and it was a frozen patty with barbecue sauce on it and it tasted terrible looked like it was possibly microwaved, no grill marks. My wife had the tri-tip salad. The salad was limp. And the meat was fatty, tasted terrible she couldn't stand to eat it. We walked out without eating our food, and will never return for the rest of our lives. One word gross!!!!

First and last time I order from here. I usually order from Old SLO BBQ but I wanted to try something new - big mistake. The food here was inedible. The meat tasted as if it was leftover from the previous day. It was so dry. The beans were overly sweet. The BBQ sauce was also overly sweet and grainy. The coleslaw wasn't the worst but, certainly not be best. The potato salad was horrible, absolutely gross. It actually tasted sour. Everything tasted like bad leftovers. Sadly I had to throw it away it was that bad. For $20+ I expected better. Ordered via Door Dash so there's nothing I could've done for new/better food.
