This bread store is worth driving all the way from AG! I am thrilled with the variety of breads available. Keep up the good work! (xoxo)

He gave us wonderfull samples and had great customer service...we ended buying Jalapeño Cheese bread, Chocolate Zucchini Bread, Lemon Bread and Sourdough Loaf (he sliced for us). Definitely will come here again. They also make sandwiches.

Pretty decent sandwiches and nice employees. The only downside to this place is that parking isn't great.

The plain Cinnamon Rolls were the BEST. The honey wheat bread was OK, but it doesn't toast well.

I have been to both SLO locations, and the breads and treats are phenomenal. The Cranky Turkey sandwich is one of my favorites. I like how they switch up the offerings depending on the holiday season. Pumpkin pinwheels - mmmm. Haven't had anything bad at either location. Friendly staff!

Can't believe this location meets health requirements. The place is dirty. The baking trays look like they've never been cleaned. The mixers are scary-looking. Floors are filthy. Hasn't had a thorough clean, or a lick of paint in a long time. You'd expect a bakery whose kitchen is open to the public to be spotless - not this place! Clearly, nobody gives a rat's patootie about what they're doing. The owner needs an intervention a la Gordon Ramsey to kick some tail. Close the place down for a week and invest in some industrial cleaning. It's a disgrace.

Who likes CHEESE? Who likes garlic? Who likes (Oprah voice) BREAAADDD??" If you like all three let me tell you about this cheesy garlic bread. It's this awesome light bread with a fattt hunka chunka cheddar cheese mixed with garlic and butter baked in the middle. Never had anything like it. EVER. And I like cheese and garlic and bread so I've been places that are super tangent. Also got sandwiches which were very good quality. All fresh ingredients and lots of options, plenty of meat and a delicious pesto!Customer service was top notch (and fast!) - after putting our precious warm cheesy garlic bread baby safe in the car, figured it'd take a bit to prep sandwiches and went to the army store around the corner. When we came back the super sweet woman who took our order was standing near the door with our sandwiches with concern like we may have forgotten them and would come back, it was *THE absolutely* sweetest and most considerable thing ive seen recently!! I feel bad though I should've mentioned we'd leave and be back soon. I actually used to do that but nobody gave a flying F so I stopped giving a play by play to people which I'm actually Madden-status at. If I owned such a delicious shop I'd do the same and this really touched my heart! I bet she's a mom and a super duper awesome one, and that's why she makes such yummy sandwiches =) I BET she invented the cheesy stuffed garlic bread too!

Great tasting bread. Would of been 5 stars but did not have Zucchini Bread or Banana Nut.

They have a huge window with view of the kitchen and you can see how dirty it is back there. Asked about cross contamination as it looks like everything is just touching each other in the display case up front( also really dirty). The girl working told me they use separate boards for the items with nuts and I had bread here once in the past as a gift from someone so I gave it another shot and after having an allergic reaction I've decided not to risk coming here. Bread was very bland and nothing special which was very disappointing....Also not a fan of the samples out for people to just touch with their bear hands. Gross. Overall, the store is just gross inside and doesn't look like it's up to health code standards. As someone with a food handlers card I'm really surprised the city isn't all over this place. Makes you wonder....
