I give a 3 star rating because the surf and turf special on 3/31/24 had lukewarm filet mignon and the beef and lobster quantities were appetizer size not dinner size. My wife really liked the ahi tartare.

The filet mignon was delicious.& My hubby had one of the specials, the quail. It was the first time he had it, and really enjoyed how it was seasoned.Loved the low light atmosphere, very romantic for our anniversary dinner.

Beautiful atmosphere with white table clothes and table settings. Ryan, our server, was professional and fun. Oysters, butter lettuce salad, sea scallops, and lingue with veal..all amazing. It's definitely a great date night place. Guys, remove your ball caps and respect your date.

Pricy like other nice restaurants but well worth it. Ordered just 3 appetizers, not dinner. Wanted to be satisfied without eating heavy food. Was perfect. Will go back again.Parking: SLO parking fees are crazy. Makes me think I'll go to another area where parking is free or at least less expensive. $3. per hour is nuts. And prepaying by guessing how long you will be out. Nuts again!

Great atmosphere, great service, but not so great food. The halibut, itself, was well-cooked and tasty, but it was advertised as coming with raviolies. I got ONE ravioli along with a little cooked spinach. We ordered the crab chamboisse (sp?) as an appetizer, which were basically crab balls or puffs. They were quite small, and there were only 3 on the plate. It was difficult to split the third one because there was a crab claw inside it. They were fairly tasteless, and not worth $18. We had a fruit cobbler for dessert, which was advertised as having a granola crust. The fruit part was delicious, but we couldn't find the granola crust anywhere. For the high cost of eating here, it wasn't worth it.

We sat at the bar, the girl bar back was friendly. The food was ok. Calamari was very bland and the scallops were OK. The beef carpaccio was really good I don’t like capers so next time I’ll ask to not have them added. The tuna tartare was very good as well.

Best service. Best food. Best atmosphere. Best in SLO period. I have no connection to this place outside of coming here a handful of times. Tonight I got the herb roasted halibut served over a large and delicious wild mushroom ravioli, sautéed spinach, and the most incredible basil vermouth sauce. Topped with melted tomatoes. The service in the bar from Christian and Jeremy is best in town. This is the best dinner I’ve had in the tri counties. Don’t miss this spot. All time.

Highly recommend this location if you're looking for an upscale restaurant. The food selection is great, and the atmosphere is upscale, however, with a casual flare. Our server Eric was outstanding. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and Eric went up and beyond to make this a very special evening. If we should find our way back to this area, we would make reservations and dine here again.Parking: Downtown parking is limited. There are paid parking lots available and suggest you use them as free parking is difficult to find.

We went to celebrate 3 birthdays and just wanted to try this restaurant. Our server was super friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious - not the same choices you see at every restaurant. Everyone loved all of their choices, and we all enjoyed the appetizers we shared. The berry cobbler was yummy and a wonderful way to cap off the meal. We will definitely be back!

Great atmosphere and service. Meh wine list and dinner menu. Appetizers were ok, but steak was tough and grisly. Did not showcase enough wines from the region.

Possibly the best martini I've ever had. Kettle one, dry with blue cheese stuffed olives.
