We hosted our wedding welcome party at the Libertine and it was amazing! Trenton was professional and responsive and made the process super easy. And the party itself couldn’t have been better! The space was hip and open and perfect for a cocktail party. The staff was amazing and personable and helped all of our guests even during the rush! And the drinks were great, from their many beer options to ciders and more!! (We’ve also had the food many times and it is always delicious!) We couldn’t have asked for a better spot to host all of our friends and family and to welcome them to San Luis Obispo!

The staff was nice, but burrito and a bag of tots cost $25 with an 18% tip. I would be ok with that if it was good. It was very basic. Season your eggs chef! You can't rely on a strip of bacon to add all of your flavor. The pico de gallo was bland too, so that's not helping. The worst part was waiting 10 min and receiving an essentially cold burrito. I was the only order they were working on in the kitchen, so there is really no excuse. Was the burrito sitting there the whole time you were waiting for the tots to fry? Otherwise, check the temp on your eggs because it doesn't add up... My wife came on a different occasion and had a similar experience. I wouldn't leave a bad review if it had only happened once. Easy fix for better food. Good luck

Love this place. Went on Wednseday night and they had stand up comedy. Good bartenders too.

Second time here, though first visit was several years ago so I had forgotten. Then I remembered I liked it. And I still do. Their specialty for their own brews is sours. And they have a really nice range of those, from berry to citrusy, salty to sweet. If you don't like sours, have no fear: They have a huge range of other beers and ales on tap. Again, a really nice range, one that favors California breweries. The food is very good, a step up from standard bar food. They have good burgers and sandwiches, of course, and various fries. But also really good salads, tater tots, and more. Pleasant open space, and very friendly, helpful waitstaff. SLO has a few other good, local brewery restaurants, including Antigua and Central Coast, but Libertine should be on your go-to list as well, and if you're a bit foodie at the top.

I went here for mimosas! They were super attentive on refilling our champagne and they also had guava juice along with orange juice. I ordered a breakfast burrito which was decent. However, my personal favorite part of my dish were the tater tots I ordered on the side. The restaurant was a little bit on the louder side since there was a DJ for a Saturday morning which wasn't my preference but that's totally okay. I think the venue is cool since there's like a patio and plenty of seating.

The service here was solid and everyone seemed to know all the beers. The problem was the food which sounded good on the menu but was disappointing in execution. Example the fries weren't cooked are the way through and neither was the fish in our fish and chips. Upside, is they have a nice vibe and good music.

Just happened to walk into this gem of a pub when walking down in SLO last day in town. The interior was inviting and the menu was seriously appetizing for breakfast. The service was excellent. I was in heaven for a good breakfast. No more downtown it looks like the out skirt of town has gems.

Plenty of taps. Nitro and sours. Patio and street parking.

Super cool brewery vibes in open setting. Beers are all sours & farmhouse ales, but delicious within that style! Food looks good!

The food was kind of gross all around. Place seemed pretty dirty. Service was indifferent though polite. Overall very poor experience. Won’t be returning.

Great casual atmosphere. Taco Tuesdays are perfect for inexpensive, light, and yummy lunchtime fare. We had two people at lunch and we each had two of the small shrimp tacos along with Arnold palmers and the lunch cost was under $16. Pet friendly as well as family friendly. Chipotle sauce and lime slices used to top tacos made the flavor!
