Myron's is a confusing place. With it's smooth jazz background music and pleasant waiting staff, I would think that the food would be up to spec, but it seems to lack. My sandwich today was pretty good, definitely worth coming back again, but the fries that accompanied it were cold and the au jus was not exceptional. In addition, there were fruit flies in the red wine vinegar bottle used for the salads, which did not really float well. I might eat here again, but only if they step up their quality. Very convenient for Cal poly students as they are able to use their dining dollars here.

WOW! This is a dining experience. I have gone to multiple Michelin star ranked restaurants, yet nothing like Myron's finds a balance for class, quality, and approach-ability. To begin, the atmosphere that Myron's greets you with is unmatched anywhere in the state of California. I cannot rave enough about how well the interior design of Myron's has been executed. Without even trying the food, Myron's is a place you want to be. Now getting to the food, have you ever tasted the touch of God? Then you've probably been to Myron's before. The heavenly plates are curated like works of art in a museum. I fear for the time when I no longer get my weekly Myron's, because it is some of the finest food that is prepared on this blessed rock that we call Earth. Now where Myron's excels beyond any other highly acclaimed restaurant is their cost. The menu is fairly priced, and best of all, they offer meals covered by the Cal Poly dining plan. It's hard to believe that Myron's is owned by the same organization that runs Mustang Station (Mustang Station is a dingy and pathetic attempt at pizza). I haven't even begun to address the service. I have been a regular at a restaurant before, but nothing compares to the affection I feel from Jordan and the entire Myron's staff. They go above and beyond to assure that my dining experience is outdone from previous visits. Endless bread and bottomless soup may seem like a common occurrence in the restaurant industry, but Myron's bread and soup is lovingly prepared and it shows. Additionally, Myron's seems to always be ready for a challenge, given how easily they tackled my party of 10.Do you like Jazz?Good because Myron's has some of the best smooth Jazz you'll find on this side of the Mississippi. If you are going to Myron's or plan to, good choice. My words of advice would be to reserve ahead of time (don't want to look like a fool without one), dress classy (it's a classy place), and to be prepared for an out of body experience as the world class cuisine is about to take your soul on a wild ride. And make sure to ask for my girl Jordan, she's the best server out there.

I went to Myron's today and it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. I ordered a grilled turkey sandwich which was just a grilled cheese sandwich with a few slices of cold cut lunch meat. The bread served at the beginning was cold and I asked for water shortly after sitting down. The waitress completely forgot and I asked for salt later on which also took much longer than it should have. The salt was for my steak which failed to get rid of the taste of the steak. It smelled very strong of fish and also tasted horrible which shows it was bad meat. My friend ate a piece and immediately spit it out. I left it on my plate and this 5 oz steak was definitely not worth $7. The only good thing was the cheesecake and the servers seemed nice. I doubt I will come back though.

Waking into Myrons restaurant is like being transported to downtown Paris. The food is decadent but nothing compares to the service and ambiance that Myron’s offers. Jordan (our waitress) is my shining star and never fails with her brilliant service. Myron’s is easily the classiest restaurant in all of SLO so be prepared for the experience of a lifetime.

Impeccable, elegant, the eighth wonder of the world. All of these things and more can be used to describe the profoundness that is Myron’s restaurant. Located at Cal Poly, Myon’s serves as a hidden entrance to the gates of Heaven. Their top notch quality and dining experience is of the highest standard, truly a hidden relic that only the classiest individuals of this planet may know about.I had the privilege of hearing about Myron’s from a few comrades of mine, and now I don’t know what I would do without the incredible flavors that Myron’s offers my tastebuds each and every time I go. Hidden from tourists, Myron’s is a must-try the next time you come to the United States. Stating that it was the best dining experience of my life is a gross understatement.I would make this post longer, but I must depart now so I can make the venture once more to the restaurant that is too good for this Earth; Myron’s.

Easily the top dining experience that I’ve had in all of my years living in San Luis Obispo. Every bite is exploding with flavor that ingrains itself in your brain and refuses to leave or be satisfied until you go back. I yearn for the food here constantly, with every fiber of my being. The service was impeccable, huge shoutout to our waitress Jordan, who truly made me feel at home. My only regret is that I can’t give more than five stars

This place was so damn good it made my day one for the books. Not many resteraunts have accomplished such a feat but myrons takes the cake with ease. Not only does it provide you with world class dining service but it leaves you feeling like you are an emperor and a mighty one at that. I even brought my grandpa to the place and he aged back 50 years. Myrons, you have not only captured my illustrious heart but also my divine soul and i am grateful for your phenomenal doings. I will be back once again to enter the amazing, elegant, and magnificent place that is Myrons. Toodles

I swear I’m straight but I want to live in a log cabin in the woods with David Twyman. We won't ever kiss, but there will be a simmering undercurrent as I stand in the kitchen window watching him tighten his rippling muscles as he chops wood, shirtless, sweat pouring off his body. I'll run upstairs and shower to clear my mind, the entire time forcing myself to think of women while my thoughts drift back to David. I won't be able to stop though and I'll eventually go back downstairs, angry. Sometimes we will look across the table and catch each other's eyes, and in that second, anything is possible, but we both deny ourselves and go back to what we were doing. One day one of us will die, and the other will bury him outside the log cabin. Then he'll go inside, pen a brief missive to his departed friend, and leave the world forever, never able to deal with life without his one true platonic love.

A group of my friends convinced me to tag along for a lunch at Myron’s and I can honestly say it was probably definitely the best decision of my life. Cal Poly dining doesn’t deserve a gem like Myron’s.

tbh most grilled cheeses are made with the pre sliced cheese at restaurants but this one was actually good.

Good food, great service

This place has so much potential! The food is great, but I’ve come multiple times and the service is horrible. One server in particular, Nathalie, has ignored my table on multiple occasions to chat with other customers she knows. She’s forgetful unless you know her, and it’s quite obvious since those customers ALWAYS get bread at their table, while I’ve only gotten some 2/6 times I’ve been. I also sat waiting for 12 minutes for her to take my check when there was only one other party in the restaurant. Please work on staff training!
