I used to love this place but it took almost 30 min for my to go order and they didn’t put bbq sauce in the tri tip sandwich that cost $17

Had the tri-tip plate with coleslaw and 2 garlic breads, the coleslaw was refreshing and simple, the garlic bread was good with its buttery garlic taste, but the meat was sadly bland and lacked flavor, no seasoning was added, but it was cooked perfect. BTW, Their BBQ sauce and habanero sauce together were delicious.Parking: Parking is limited so be prepared to walk.

The staff was so sweet but the food was hot fmgarbage between 2 buns. The buns of the sandwich had the most flavor. The tri tip was cooked to the right temp med rare, but had no flavor. There wasn't even a hint of smoke. Same with the pulled pork. Bbq by definition means smoking. At least the tritip was treated with respect and was not smoked to death till well. Still it lacked flavor. If this has 4 awards dmfor best bbq in slo, then slo bbq is hot garbage.

Disappointing food - I had the highlight tri-tip sandwich. Dull too, but perhaps more fun in peak season. I won’t be back. Excellent range of brews but nothing to give the desire to partake.

Trip tip was cooked perfectly. But I purchased two pieces of corn pie and they were both burnt. The top and bottom were so hard could not even eat them. To spend 10 bucks and have to throw away is not cool. We usually eat at restaurant and would have noticed . But today we brought our food

Family ( 10 ) had a great early dinner there on our last night in SLO. Staff were friendly and helpful wirh their suggestions.
Being able to pour ur own beer was overrated. One of the machine was broken and charged us over 30 dollars for nothing. There were also many others that were broken without warning so the only way to tell was to pour yourself a cup of foam. While staff was helpful there wasnt a way to exactly know how much was charged to reverse incorrect charges. So in the end we just guessed. But the experience left me wondering how the equipment was calibrated or if it was at all. Do yourself a favor and just buy beer that is served buy staff. The wine from the tap was not good dont bother. The beer was nice (if you can find a working tap).Food was okay. The tri tip sandwich bread tasted like it was straight from the durable bread aisle at the supermarket. The ribs were nice tho. The coleslaw was under-seasoned.

Overall, very ‘meh.’ Food was really dry, there were no sauces or fixings, super overpriced for dry meat and bread. Was disappointed…service was OK.
