Love, love, love! Hidden gem for sure! My friends and I were greeted by the family dog and each a glass if wine just after parking. We were given a brief introduction to the estate and history (oldest vineyard in the Edna Valley). With only three tables, it was intimate and absolutely lovely. The matriarch of the family, whose home is located there, came out and chatted with us all for a few minutes. She was very sweet and kind. I appreciated their bottles not being overly expensive. Considering they have only been open to the public for a couple of years, I do hope in the future they install a proper restroom (currently a port-a-potty) and add food items (i.e, cheese, chocolates) to pair with the wine.

Fantastic wines and a great tasting experience. We loved sitting outside amongst the vineyards.

Wines are decent, and the tasting experience was fun, but giving 1 star because I joined the wine club, they charged my card, did not ship the wine, and won't respond to calls or emails to resolve. So, beware of joining their wine club.

Last week, we visited and tasted at Piedra Creek, my 4th visit. It's an excellent visit, I brought my best friend Debbie this time, she's a fairly new winery business owner too, in Amador County. The wine was excellent, the tasting experience, and the hospitality of TJ and his grandmother and original owner Margaret. It's my favorite place for the experience and TJ and Margaret. We first visited just as live scheduled visits were permitted as businesses started to reopen post-pandemic. We had wonderful hospitable tasting and enjoyed the history of the winery. We LOVED the wine, most of it hearty reds, and normally I'm not a red fan. The heady Zinfandel and Legrein, Pinot Noir, Pinot Noir Blanc and a wonderful rose, plus a run not currently available of sparking rose. There have been other special blends. Pinot Noir is not usually a favorite for me either, but I love it here and the Pinot Noir Blanc is my #1 favorite. We joined the wine club too.Wine vines are in their full green glory right now! This is a small family run vineyard with an outdoor tasting area. We originally tasted on the back patio. It's by appointment only. They will accommodate you in most cases! Craig manages tastings now, he's knowledgeable and a good addition too.Thank you for a wonderful authentic friendly experience, this time and every time.

Thank you TJ for a last minute reservation. We had a lovely time time with your mom, Margaret and Chris. This small winery is a hidden gem. We enjoyed learning about the wine making process, the history of your winery and the area. With the small group tasting it felt like we were company, not customers. Our two favorites were the Lagrein and the Pinot Noir Blanc, however we enjoyed all the wines! Outside food is allowed so bring a snack to compliment the tasting. Thank you Margaret for the dinner recommendation as well, your fellow Carbonara lover enjoyed his dinner.

Had such a great experience tasting at Piedra Creek! We were the only ones there for our tasting, so it was a very intimate setting. The wine was delicious, especially the legraine rose and the Pinot noir blanc. Highly highly recommend!

Just amazing! My sister and I came here for her birthday and it was wonderful. Delicious wine and Chris made us feel at home! He was also so knowledgeable. It was our first stop for our wineries and definitely our favorite.

Hands down the best tasting experience I've had in Edna Valley if not all of the central coast area. The space is a fantastic, staff is extremely knowledgeable and can speak to novices and experienced wine tasters alike. We had Chris serving and he was chalk full of information about the wine making process and how it impacts the flavors. Dog friendly, we brought our pup and he had a great time. Most importantly, the wine was fantastic. It was my first time trying Lagrein but definitely not my last. In addition to the classic Italian style of lagrein they make a fantastic rose with it as well. We were fortunate enough to speak with the original owner Margret (turning 90 this august), it was a blessing to hear her stories. Cannot recommend enough, go go go!

Excellent local wine tasting experience. Location, venue, and wine super. Being hosted by Chris super duper! He is an entertaining wealth of Vineyard knowledge. Made us feel like we were visiting a friend's home to catch up and sip wine in their "shop".Pilot Noir- money!

Intimate and wonderfully priced. Would recommend and return. For all Cal Poly students looking for an intro to wine or just a great place for a date, this is a great place to come. Staff are very kind and knowledgeable. 5 stars.

Piedra Creek Winery was exactly the intimate experience we were looking for. Good wine with a story about how it all began. Chris made us feel welcome and provided a strong education of the wines and grapes. The headliner was meeting the matriarch, Margaret, who added to the stories in an engaging way. She is fun and someone you want meet. ???? personable experience. We will return.
