This is a great hole in the wall place for mexican cuisine. The service is great, always friendly, the food is delicious, and it is a small business that you might miss if you are not looking for it, which would be a great loss for your food experience.

I have been to a lot of Mexican food restaurants and this one has my favorite burrito. The portion size is massive, the ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the burrito (so you don't get a pocket of sour cream at the end like some places), and the meat is top notch. Chips are some of the best traditional tortilla chips out there (add some salt) and their salsa bar is fire. Staff is friendly and super short wait times whenever I go. It's a must try whenever you are in the are.

Decent food! The burritos are really large, but doable in one sitting. I got the carnitas super burrito (pictured) and it was good/fine, but I don't know if it was worth $13. Staff are really sweet. Also, I love the serve-yourself chip and salsa bar while you wait... it's a good snack. However, prices are higher than what's listed online (on their website/menus). I've been told they have lower prices if you pay in cash? But unsure how much lower, and if that amount matches the listed price.

Best burritos in the area. I and several of my friends all drive from out of town to get food from here. Good food and quick service are the reasons this makes this a good take out destination for Mexican food.

This is my goto in SLO for a delicious breakfast burrito! Have others in other towns up the 101, but this is easy for me on way outta town or after work in morning. Not the fastest place, as they make to order, but they make them with love and attention. Tuesday taco night can get busy, but tacos are worth it and college kids seem to love the place as well. Can sit outside and enjoy the air!
Once again, I am confused by the style of Mexican food offered in SLO.I ordered a Grande Quesadilla, and expected it to be like all other quesadillas I've had at taco shops: a flour tortilla folded over and filled with cheese, served with pico, sour cream, lettuce, and guac on the side. For $7, I knew it would be smaller, so that's fine. The issue is that it wasn't really a quesadilla, it was two flour tortillas filled with a slight sprinkling of cheese, shredded lettuce, sour cream, guac, and carne. It was unsliced and just really messy to eat, stuff falling out of the sides.Other than the quesadilla, this taco shop makes tacos and burritos that are fine/good enough and par the course for SLO.

Could duke it out with any mission burrito at any establishment in San Francisco - facts. I will come here forever if they let me. I live in LA, do I just randomly drive 3 hours to SLO to get these burritos when I want? Maybe... maybe that's the move, I promise..

The cashier was sweet and helpful, my food was amazing. California Burrito and a chili Reno was my order!!
