This is a healthy casual food option. There were bowls and sandwiches and soups, with plenty of vegan and gluten-free options. With the oven making fresh focaccia up front, I ordered a sandwich. The banh mi was tasty and unusual with a focaccia bun. It was messy (needed two napkins and a fork), but I would order it again. The salad that accompanied it was so much better than the typical free side salad. It was dressed with a fresh herbal vinaigrette and not a single leaf was wilted or past its prime. There is indoor seating, which has that fast food vibe, and a covered outdoor area, where you are mostly protected from the occasional rain shower.

The first time I ate here I got the mozzarella and sun dried tomato sandwich and wow it blew my mind. It was so delicious that I ordered another one right after finishing it. I also have tried the baja bowl and that too was super yummy. I love Urbane Cafe and would 100% recommend it to anyone.

So happy with my ahi salad. Delicious. The greens were fresh and interesting and it was packed with veggies. The ahi was perfectly cooked and tender. So many times ahi salads have tough stringy ahi, not this one. Dressing was just enough and also very tasty. I love that the calorie count is in the menu. Also, the counter staff was friendly, and the place immaculate. And no TVs, thank you!! I'll be back.

I LOVE Urbane! I could seriously eat the Cranberry and Brie sandwich everyday. It's like Thanksgiving year round. So delicious. And the side salad with it makes for a perfect compliment. I really like sitting outside at this location. It's in a great downtown part of SLO. There's not a parking lot right at this location but there is street parking or parking structures to utilize. My husband really likes their Santa Maria BBQ sandwich. Everything always tastes fresh and the staff are friendly!

Fresh, delicious food at a good price? Why yes. We had the cilantro salad (excellent dressing, chicken was not that cubed, pre-frozen type) and the salmon bowl (everything was just fresh and healthy and tasty). Focaccia came with it. Whole bill was $27. I'm kinda amazed.

Got a tomato bisque soup. It was fine. The accompanying focaccia was okay. Seemed understaffed in restaurant - took a minute for anyone to attend to me despite a relatively empty restaurant at an off peak time.

Urbane Cafe is my go-to for catering. They make large orders and special diets incredibly easy. I have ordered for delivery and pick-up and they have never made a mistake. The lunch I ordered today was for 16 people. They took time and care to label each item. Guests are always impressed with their food. Thank you Urbane Cafe for making working lunches a breeze.

Urbane Cafe is delicious. I would suggest ordering ahead at this location if you're in a rush. The man with the beard and glasses gives EXCELLENT service. If he wasn't working, I would call the service mid at best, but it's obvious he changes the dynamic. Great location as well.

Five stars for the presentation of the seared ahi bowl, the taste, and the reasonable prices. I love that they make their own focaccia bread and that it was included with my entree. This is a restaurant chain, although I have never heard of it before. They had clean bathrooms and didn't require me to buy anything to use them. Metered parking available all over the place so it shouldn't be a problem to find parking. The cashier was friendly and the food came in less than 5 minutes.
