This place is unfortunately very hit and miss. Sometimes its the best food I’ve ever had from an Indian Restaurant. However days like today are so disappointing. For my birthday my boss let me pick and the food I got was so spicy it was inedible, and I order like I always do. As mild as possible, 1 or less. And its bright red, spicy as can be. I called the restaurant and they told me I was wrong?? Mild coconut chicken curry should not be bright red. The goat cheese kulcha is usually raw on top and overall I think this will be my last work lunch order. Very frustrating for a place I used to love so much.

Curry and More in San Marcos is a culinary gem, offering an exquisite journey through the flavors of India. Their Paneer Makhni is a creamy delight, and the Lamb Shank Nalli Nihari is a succulent masterpiece. The live tandoor adds a sizzling touch to their Tandoori Roti and Naan, creating a perfect accompaniment to their flavorful dishes. To top it off, the Pista Kulfi dessert is nothing short of heavenly, making every visit a memorable feast for the senses. This restaurant truly stands out for its authentic taste, warm ambiance, and a menu that transports you straight to the heart of Indian cuisine.

I generally like the food here especially the tandoori salmon which was always unique , but today it was bad. It seems like they have a new cook who doesn't care. Not ordering from here anymore.

I’ve been calling for over an hour to a “busy” line. They clearly have their phone off. They don’t have an option to order food online.Guess there’s no point for take out. Guess they don’t want my business.

Excellent service. Delicious, authentic food. Plenty of options for everyone! The bhel puri chaat is a must!Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options, a number of which are vegan. Staff is knowledgeable about what is vegan and veganizable.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible parking and access right in front. Wide entrance doors. Plenty of tables with chairs and 1/2 booth, 1/2 chairs available.
The owner has sat with us to tell stories of her food and how they make the ice cream in the traditional way from her family recipe. The food is great. Loses a star for being a bit pricier than others.

Yummy smell as you enter this trendy ambience. Attentive waiters pay enough attention without being overbearing. Our behl Puri chat was so fresh and we are South Indian by origin. The chicken Tikka masala was juicy and to perfect spice level as our child wanted it. Mango Lassie was a knockout. The item that took the cake was tandoori salad chicken, perfect marination and flavor. It does deserve the 5 stars that many seem to be giving.

The food was delicious. We ordered chicken tikka masala and chicken vindaloo. They tasted very similar whereas in other places I taste more of a difference with the sauces. I think more yogurt could have been used. Very friendly and polite staff with prompt service. There were a lot of flies so I would recommend investing in some tools or equipment that repels or Zappos the flies. Other than that a great option added to our food options in our city ?

This is our second time here. We brought some friends that have lots of Indian food knowledge from England and we all really enjoyed all the different flavors. We spend a couple of hours there chit chatting over some tasty wine.

Casual Indian dishes with friendly staff and excellent cooks. Whether you like it spicy or as mild as possible, everyone will find something to love here. For vegetarians, the Mail Kofta is really good. I also highly recommend the Murg Kali Mirch (hope I spelled it right). The lunch specials are a great deal as well.
