My burrito was pretty gross, I dont ever say that about food. Especially burritos, Horchata was good though! The Surf n Turf I got had way too much shrimp that tasted off and the carne was so dry it hurt my teeth, the guac tasted old also. I really dont mean for the hate, but I ain't goin back there

Go to place for Mexican grub. Salsa will grab your boo-boo so beware. Parking in rear of building.

So this is not the same restaurant anymore I'm not sure why it's still labeled this. I called and asked if they had mole enchiladas and she said yes. I placed my order and went to get it. It took forever to get my order, and the enchiladas were not mole. She gave us red and enchiladas and her answer was “ well these are mole for us”. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I understand they need customers but the approach was incorrect. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else

D'Sotos now...new owners? Don't care...great food. Conga burrito is no joke! Great salsa too.

This food isn't even good. Most of the food is microwaved why go here when I could microwave it myself. Don't recommend. I ate here and I just got really bad stomachs due to the food.

I've been coming here about once a week for 35 years, since I lived in the Mission in the 1980s. I've lived in the East Bay for 20 years and still come back to Pancho Villa in my old hood for their classic super burritos, happy hour tacos and when in a celebratory mood, the hot spicy prawns dinner plate. No matter what time of day, there's usually a line, but the dozen team members behind the counter work fast, and the food comes quickly and tastes great every time.

All right it doesn't get much better than this. First of all it's kind of easy to pass by if you're not looking for it. Cross the street from Bradley Park in San Marcos and it is way too incredible. The tortillas are so fresh and home-cooked it really makes a difference in the tacos the service is wonderful Mario is so friendly and prompt and will ensure that you have a good experience the patio seating is great when the weather is right and the chips are also very fresh and delicious I can't wait to return. Prices are very reasonable to.Menu is authentic and well varied. Do you self a favor and check out this little gem in San Marcos if you're craving really delicious Mexican food.

Food not so good. Much better places for real Mexican food in the area. Located in the armpit of San Marcos

I have eaten here a total of 5 times so far, and want to try the whole menu! Everything I have ordered has been delicious. The service is prompt and courteous.A previous commentor said there was no parking. Not true. Parking is in the rear of the building, and you can enter near the patio seating. The food is made from scratch, and is very fresh. I highly recommend their chile relleno plate, rolled tacos, and tortas. Freshly made chips and salsa await! Try the offerings from this extremely nice and gracious family!

Just moved back to San Marcos near Rancho Santa Fe and San Marcos Blvd. Found this little place by Bradley Park and gave it a try. It is only open for take out due to the Virus thing. I ordered the chicken enciladas with Mole because an Oaxacan Mole is hard to find and would be a great test. Well the service was super friendly and accomodating. The Mole sauce was wonderful and the portions were large. Next will be the Chilles Rejeno.Great little place.

The food is homemade greatly seasoned flavors. Hand made memelitas and empanadas de flor de calabaza and quesillo are awesome. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend

Overall a very bad experience in general. Birria tacos had bones in it still, no variety of salsas and the mole was plain.

unfortunately I have it I have to give it a one-star just to Rate. I wouldn't even give it that. I wasted probably about $50 on some nasty mole, the rice had no flavor they forgot the beans the birria tacos were garbage had bones in it. Over all bad experience I wouldn't recommend anyone to go here. You're better off going to taco Bell.
