Would not recommend. I paid almost $18 for a bed of lettuce and a very small amount of pork. I will never return to this establishment.

There were a couple of things that made this experience not so pleasant.1.) I placed an order line and it said it was ready for pick up between 12:14 - 12:19 and it wasn't.2.) They did not have chicken katsu sauce.3.) The floors were filthy and slippery..I see why it's rated 3.9, I personally will not be coming back or recommending this specific location.

The l&l’s employee had given me the wrong bag. As a person who works in the food industry, you must know which food belongs to which customer. She didn’t know and gave me the wrong bag. As I went back after realizing it’s not my bag. The cook decided to try to blame it on me and make me feel bad. Again, as a worker of the industry, you must know whose food is whose. It’s not the customers faults, it’s the employees for not knowing whose food it is. Also, the fries were poorly made.

I used to love going to this l&l, they had the sweetest staff and i could call ahead if i was in a rush... recently i think they changed ownership and i cant stand the new cashier, whom i suspect is the new owner... she is cold, she rushes you to order even if nobody is waiting, and now they dont even accept large bills which is also annoying. Also their prices are ridiculous but i was willing to pay that since i enjoyed going there. Good luck to you rude lady...

A Samoan friend suggested I try this L & L. I frequent Ohana on Melrose. The first thing I noticed was my the sticky floor under my boots. While I waited, I noticed unswept floors, tables needing wiping down, furniture in disrepair. If the front of the house is dirty,, usually kitchen is worse. I was the only customer. Got my food quick, which means it wasn't fresh of the grill. So the place was dirty and the food wasn't fresh. I won't be going back. Try Ohana on Melrose in Vista. WAY MO BETTER !!

Omg! 1 Laulau, rice and Mac saladHow disappointing! The laulau was so small and dry. And these three things cost almost $20!!!What happened to L&L ? All so disappointing the meat is so thin, dry and the portions shrank. And their pricing is so high. I still can't believe they charged me $20 for two scoops of rice, a small tub of Mac and cheese and one tiny laulau.... Save your money and find another Hawaiian restaurant!

Waited so long for our food, they had the 3 bbq mix however the cashier kept telling the guys in the back to start cooking the burger and they kept saying to wait. Never coming to this place again.. rather drive to Ohana Hawaiian BBQ in Vista.

All the food we ordered was absolutely horrible! The Katsu plate was overcooked and dry! The rice was undercooked! Chicken had no flavor, the beef was dry and the hamburger for the Loco Moco dry and hard and wasn't runny like it was supposed to be.
