This location never fails. Any time of day the quality of the food never changes even late in the night. The Carne Asada Fries are amazing, you can taste the flavor of the meat opposed to Mexican places where the meat feels "watery/chewy". I've only gone through the drive thru but it goes fast and they always pack salsa,napkins, and utensils. I genuinely love this place and the workers are always kind.

Poor old Oscar! I've been eating at this previously killer taco shop for 25+ years. Steady decrease in quality. Seems like they poor cheap grease on everything just to hide the poor quality ingredients. On top of that, the place looks dirty, worn out, and in desperate need of a makeover. It remains busy, so I'd suggest to the owners that they reinvest in their own establishment and maybe do a little cleaning and painting. Also, let's slow the roll with price hikes. A $15 burrito is just not worth it. I'd rather stop at a but her shop and pick up a ribeye at that price.

food is really really good, but recently its happened multiple times that through the drive thru the orders keep and keep getting mixed up or getting the wrong items and with the long lines its difficult to get back in line and ask for the correct item or during the night time its impossible to go inside to get it fixed definitely disappointing

Oscar’s in San Marcos, always has the best customer service and experience. There is a gentleman, that runs the cash wrap and drive through, is always in good spirits whether you speak English or Spanish.He genuinely loves life or he is good at hiding it, either way, he is an excellent example of what a superb member of the team should represent. I really appreciate his aloha, his smile is contagious and he is huge asset to the current staff.Oh, and I had Two Shrimp Tacos - ????????Sending Amor!

If you're ever wondering what a green pepper burrito would taste like (not a thing I've ever seen or wished to order) get yourself a machaca burrito. Not only was it skimpy for the price but it was 80%+ green peppers.
