The food here is pretty pricy. I was going to get a monster burrito but it showed that it was going to be $21 so instead I opted for a monster fries which was $18. I figured for the price there would be a good portion, however, it was a pretty normal size with mostly fries and a little low on meat. The taste was alright but I expected more and higher quality for the price.

Fast food Mexican chain. Very decent draft selection including space dust and Sculpin! The food is as good as any, if that's why you cone, better than lots of places. My wife and granddaughter like their refried beans. About eight San Marcos firefighters were picking up tonight. Those first responders know where to eat! Talented palets! Say no more! Did I mention the beer?

Don't order the Monster Breakfast burrito, it's all tortilla it's a little bit of eggs, cheese, fries..it's a poor man's burrito, don't be fouled with the pictures..so sad @ss burrito!!
They have a very small bar, but it's nice and cozy. Good for catching a drink after work. I used to come here for taco Tuesdays, because it was a fantastic deal. Last time a went though (9/12/2023) the tacos were barely filled with anything. However, I'll still continue to go because the quality of food is excellent. It's been a huge struggle to find food with any seasoning up here in North county, so this place stands out wonderfully.Parking: Has a shared parking lot. The spaces are very narrow and it's difficult to pull in and out of the spots. The customers are local though, so everyone works together to make it work.

Definitely not authentic Mexican food!! Cheap thrown together messy rancid salsas plus the prices are ridiculous!! Guess if I had to eat one item would be the bean n cheese burrito. Everything else is garbage even carne asada fries. Don’t know why they call themselves a cantina it’s false
