Visiting san diego from Oregon so there are no Rubios. Had the street corn bowl with fish. So good. Love the chipotle salsa. I'm going back for taco Tuesday. ?

It's a shame this place changed ownership because the quality suffered. Portions got smaller and their chips got worse. Food just isn't the same and it's not worth the visit.

I used to work here many years ago , and NOTHING is the same. Team members in the kitchen are not wearing nets and have their hair down. Person handing out the food isn’t wearing gloves / net on hair with hair down. Food is always cold. I always ask for my tortilla to be nice and warm since the first time they handed them to me cold, and I never get warm tortillas. The person at the register is not very friendly. Nobody is wearing names tags. This is my 3rd time coming here after moving away and it’s definitely disappointing. Probably won’t be coming back again.

Alisha offered me a coke after seeing how in need I was for it, red eyed and cotton mouthed. Really a good person, would recommend dining here after a good high school football game or a manicure idk

Wanted shrimp tacos and stopped by Rubios. We usually get their Original Fish Tacos. Friendly service . Got the 2 tacos plate comes with 2 sides chips and beans.

I have been going here for years. I prefer this location over the one on East Valley Parkway near Home Depot because I think the food is better here. Food seemed a bit different yesterday, though. I ordered my usual mahi burrito. The whole burrito looked grilled. The tortilla was dried up with brown grill marks, stiff and hard to eat. I thought they might be doing it for the takeouts so that they don't get soggy, but for dining in, it may not be necessary. I prefer my tortillas warm, soft and chewy, like before. I hope this will be fixed next time. Otherwise, it's always a cozy place with friendly service for a quick bite.
