Ever wonder when you walk into a store for the first time and you are greeted and your food is prepared the way you want. Well, this is the place they greet you with an excellent smile and you can feel it and on top of that they do their job very well. Rosa and this tall Youngster made me feel welcome at this place highly recommend this place

3/13/24 around 7:10 pmI ordered 2 subs online. I was waiting I'm my car and when the app said the subs were READY. I got off my car and went inside to pick it up.I walked in and said "I'm here to pick up 2 subs then I said the orders name"This employe / guy said ""Oh there's 2? I forgot to make the second sandwich I'll make it right now I'm sorry"" but how can he forget ?? when he has the oder receipt.I responded ""Its fine I'll be back in 10 min and I walked out and left"" .... 4 min later I get off my car and decided to wait inside subway instead.Minutes later. The employe/ guy tells me ""Here's your order"" and hands me the bag.I leave the store and go to my car.... and as I'm checking my subs making sure he did it right. Out of no where the guy / employee his standing next to my window of my car and accused me of taking an EXTRA SUB... accusimg me of taking the first subway he made for my order" Obviously I got mad because I didn't take it.. he didn't even handed it to me when I first walked in. After he said he supposedly forgot to make the second sandwich I left and waited to get both together obviously I responded back to him & thankfully my boyfriend was in my car too. (Which he didn't not expect)He didn't get much to say after that but ...what if I was alone?.What would of he said or done?I wasn't parked infront of subway either. I was on the other side of the parking lot too. The fact he knew the car I was in (is like wow to me)I don't write reviews but I'm not gonna let someone disrespect me in my personal space when I'm inside my car and accused of me taking 3 subs basically.. ridiculous... he didn't pay attention reading the order right in the first place he didnt pay attention clearly when I was inside subway then he has the audacity to come to my car and accused me taking 3 subs in total.*** Subway Manager ***Go over your cameras.& get a chair and sit him down and let him watch it with you & talk some sense to your employee / coworker... because what this guy did was not okay. He needs to pay more attention.Because I bet if I were a dude he wouldn't have gone out his way to WALK ALL THE WAY TO MY CAR & APPROACH ME OVER A SANDWICH.***Check your cameras*****Because I only walked out with 2 footlongs in one bag that ONLY FIT 2subs IN ONE BAG AND I PAID FOR IT .... and he handed it to me.Location 631 S Rancho Santa Fe Rd, San Marcos, CA 92078

One of the worst subway experience I've ever had... I honestly don't know what's going on with coworkers but 1st guy helping left to fight with girl about something that was thrown away they went at it for a few minutes. Then stopped to tell girl he had to leave and she asked "so you want me to help them or what". Girl left us waiting for a couple of minutes before helping us because filling some vinegar is more important than the customers in front of you right? I was about to walk out but I felt bad wasting food. When she started to help us she didn't really say a word other than TOPPINGS... is the crappiest tone. Didn't even ask is that all for your sandwich just starting wrapping it up and I had to pay for the crappiest sandwich I've ever seen, with everything thrown into it, at least respect the money people earn to spend in your restaurant. If you don't like your job or your coworkers talk to your manager. As a manager of a fast food restaurant I at least let my employees know to welcome everyone and leave whatever's going on at home at home. Communication with your employees about basic service skills would probably take you a longer way. To the girl with the black hair, I forgive you just a note communication with your manger about why your so unhappy could help you like your job, if it doesn't bigger and better things are out there. I promise.

Arrived and entered the store ten minutes before closing, fully prepared to apologize for arriving so close to closing. Waited 2-3 minutes for the worker to come to the front...when she did she let me know she had already shut down for the day. I was ready to accept this and walk out when she rudely added "it is already ten minutes before closing." That bothered me bc why stay open if you're not going to take orders? I started to tell her as much, realized she probably wasn't the right person to tell, apologized and started to leave. I then remembered my husband had to use the restroom, asked her if he could and she said it was "closed for the night." I really didn't understand that. To be clear it was the rude attitude and complete lack of customer service that bothered me...not the fact that I couldn't be served so close to closing. The being open but not serving customers is a management issue. If your staff needs time for closing duties and you're not going to serve customers anyway, close earlier. You're not making money during that time anyway.

Got here at 8 pm internet says they close at 10pm there was a young girl black hair working there was no toppings no vegetables and no meatball mariner which is the only reason I came out tonight. I’m very disappointed with the laziness of this employee I’m a manager of a business it our most important thing that we provide everything we guarantee to the customers until closing or 5 minutes prior to closing. I have wasted my time.

This location has plenty of parking and is easy to get to from the main roads. Staff was not very friendly, but they made my sandwich just like I wanted it. Nothing special or different with this store - just like any other Subway you've been to in the past.

I went here at noon to get a couple of sandwiches for my daughter & me for the school family picnic. It was fine. Then this evening, my 10yr old daughter wanted another Subway sandwich for dinner. We ordered 4 sandwiches for dinner. The 2 sandwich makers were pretty clueless for the dinner sandwiches. There was a metal shield over the meats & cheeses so we couldn't see what was available, or how it looked. The sandwich makers had no idea how to take it down. It wasn't there when I was there at lunch. They thought it was supposed to be there. My 2 kids built their own sandwiches. My husband wanted a Club sandwich which was displayed on the menu board. I wanted a Chicken Teriyaki sandwich from the old menu. They had no idea how to make it. They said I could just put whatever I wanted on it. I've had these before & there's a certain "recipe" to them. They didn't know what it was because it was from the "old" menu. While we were trying to order our sandwiches, there was one old, crabby lady waiting behind us, telling us to hurry up & to be nice to the staff. I couldn't believe it. It wasn't our fault the staff didn't know what they were doing. She was a really unhappy person. I think the food could have been pretty good if the staff knew what they were doing. Maybe they needed better training.
