Super quaint little restaurant. The food was great. I was originally concerned based on the photos on Yelp that the tables were all connected so you'd be literally sitting next to people. But that wasn't the case. There's adequate space between the tables to have a little bit of privacy while having dinner. The waiter and waitress seem to be the owner which made it really cool. I highly recommend you take the time to go to this restaurant

We've eaten here many, many times, but we keep returning. Their selection of wine and food is outstanding, and the atmosphere is elegant yet cozy and comfortable. We can always count on warm, friendly service and great food. Our favorite restaurant in San Mateo and beyond.

Food and service are excellent. Every dish we had tasted great. Nice wine list and tasty sangria. Love the decorations. Look forward to going back!

Nice ambience, good service. Food is extremely overpriced for the size and quality - we got 3 somewhat burnt meatballs (literally, golf ball size each) in tomato sauce for about $25. 3 semi-raw scallops for about same price. $7 for a small piece of bread with some jam on it. Don't even consider it.

This is such a lovely and cozy space. The staff are all very kind and the wine was great, but the food is extremely overpriced for the quality and quantity. You'll get much better value and significantly better quality food at other tapas places in the area.

There are a few small plates available from each of several Mediterranean cuisines. The overall collection is somewhat eclectic, but the quality was consistently very good and mixing the different styles worked. The wine list is also good and fairly representative of the different cuisines.

Pretty disappointed with the experience here. The noice level was loud and 0 to no service. The price is way too high for such a small portion. Should've went somewhere for my birthday.

Great wines and Spanish menu in an invitingly cozy vibe. Escargot, patatas brava, sardine, scallops, burrata all a great match for my wine.

Our first time here and we enjoyed it overall with some caveats. Ambience is cozy with a creative-funky decor. It is a smallish interior so the tables are close together and the noise level is high. Our server was very nice, but she was stretched thin so we had to flag her down a couple of times. We tried an assortment of dishes and they were good, but quite pricey for what we got based on other tapas dining experiences.
