Sauce flavor just kinda mid. Not many options in the peninsula tho, and even then I'd rather make the drive to South Bay for claw shack

This place is seriously underrated All the fried items on the menu are nicely portioned and always hot and crispyMy son loves the seafood pasta and can almost finish the whole thing by himself I also enjoy the gumboProbably would like it more spicy on the seafood boil but it's nice and fresh, cooked to the right temperature Happy hour is great with cheap oysters and finger food! $3 dollar beer is also hard to beat!

C Food Crush is a great spot for authentic, flavorful Pakistani and Indian cuisine.

They are very nice, but the only thing is me my sister and dad got sick, I could not go to work unfortunately, no hate to the people but I felt really bad and could not get out of bed or eat anything, all I say just please make sure to be cautious, I only that food that day and Bundt cakes but I’m probably guessing it was seafood, I did not even eat as much as my family did

My first experience at C Food Crush was quite disappointing but I'm willing to give the restaurant one more chance. It is located in downtown San Mateo and they have outside seating which creates a nice date night ambiance and is part of what attracted us to the restaurant. We ordered the following (ratings listed in parentheses):-Raw oysters (5/5; this Is the first time my partner actually enjoyed raw oysters. They were quite fresh)-oyster Rockefeller (1/5; this is NOT OYSTER ROCKEFELLER. It was basically baked oyster with cheese and masago/fish eggs on top. It was very fishy, the oyster was too large, and overall way too juicy. I honestly spit out the one oyster I tried. Note to the restaurant, if you are going to alter a classic dish you SHOULD list a description detailing the food item)-Cajun wings (2/5; too fried, and not great flavor)-sweet potato fries (5/5; really good. This comprised most of our meal since most everything else was subpar)-fried gator (3/5; well fried and decent taste)-fried oyster (2/5; decent fry on the oyster but they were way too big, so every bite released a bunch of liquid)Overall, we Only finished/ate the fries and raw oysters. It was very disappointing. Another complaint I had is that on the menu the raw oysters list the price per oyster but every order comes with SIX oysters. So even though the menu says $1.5/count, each order costs 9 dollars and the waiter didn't clarify this so when I ordered 3 of the raw oysters, they came out with a platter of 18. Fortunately, this was one of the highlights of the meal. Most of these items were from their happy hour menu ($3 beers during HH!) so I will come back and try a couple of things like garlic noodles and a Cajun boil, which is moreso what this restaurant is known for.

This is really a diamond in the rough. Came here on a Monday night with no crowd but made reservations anyways. We were greeted by a very welcoming staff. The vibe was really nice with lighting and music. After getting seated by the window, we got waters and menus that had a very "boiling crab"/"kickin crab" feel. Ordered the combo 1 with two pounds of shrimp and clams, 8 pieces of raw oyster, squid ink noodles and some sangria. The oysters came out first with the sangria and both were amazing. We were surprised at the size of the combo! The shrimp were gigantic and the flavor of garlic butter and cali Cajun made for the perfect meal. Squid ink noodles were a first. They had a good flavor and had squid in it too! Overall a really great experience. Amazing food, service, and ambiance. We will be coming here (which is only 15 minutes away) from now on instead of driving 40+ minutes any time we want our seafood fix going forward.

We have been to CFood crush 3x so this will be my 4th visit. service has always been amazing. Menu: The selections are standard either you go with the Combo Seafood boil or choose from single entree items. Price of food is average for San Mateo area... portions are huge so you can order family style and share meals. It's always a great experience dining here will definitely come back for dinner either with work colleagues or family .

Love the fact that they have outdoor dining. I had my dog with me and was able to enjoy a great dinner.

We very much enjoyed the food and tried a variety of appetizers and main dishes. The service was very good, the wait staff were courteous, quick and friendly. Great experience overall.

Ok so let me start by just saying that I'm a BIIIIG boiling crab fan so I may be a little biased. This place is great if you're jonesing for some vietnamese-cajun seafood, but don't expect the same experience as boiling crab or even kicking crab. This is a sit-down restaurant with silverware, so you might feel a little weird eating with your hands (though cleaner, it does cause some trouble eating head-on shrimp). Overall, the flavors are ok - a little lacking in my opinion, but like I said, I'm biased. Definitely worth a visit though if you want similar flavors but don't want to drive all the way to San Jose to stand in line for 2 hours. One thing to note is that the acoustics in here are really good which basically just means it circulates sound really well sooooo maybe don't come here if you plan on having conversations you don't want the whole restaurant to hear.

I cannot even begin to express how much I love this restaurant! I've been here a handful of times, either in a large group, in a pair, or by myself. The staff are super friendly and can accommodate to large groups of 8-12. Might be more difficult logistically for a larger group. Now onto the food. Get the Cajun + Garlic butter mix for your seafood boil, if you choose a boil. You won't regret it. Spicy is a medium spicy, so no need to worry. Mild is good too. I have not tried the spiciest option (bmax). They have plenty of combo options to decide from and the quality was good all the times I went. These combos include sides like corn, sausage, and potato. I also recommend the Cajun fries. The Garlic Noodles were okay on its own but soooo good with the seafood boil sauce. FYI, there's a happy hour menu with $1.5 oysters. I got a half dozen on two occasions and I did not regret it :)

The service was amazing from the door. We had a waiter named Joe who was extremely friendly and helpful. We ordered mussels, shrimp and French bread which was all delicious. We asked to sit outside to enjoy the live music and the nightlife. Definitely, will come back again if I am in the area. Awesome experience and the food was the icing on the cake!

Delicious Cajun seafood boil, first place I've tried after boiling crab. The 1lb shell-on Cali Cajun shrimp was great split between 2 people along with a side of fries. I'd go for shell off next time just so it's easier to eat. We chose to sit outside Saturday evening which was great in terms of the ambiance with the live music across the street at the wine bar. I'd be mindful of sitting outside if you're ordering the boil as this makes for a messy meal and there is a pedestrian audience. Also the wind/table under the trees can have you end up with leaves in your food.
