Don’t know how are they running it. First parking is an issue (limited street parking), then a simple dish like Malai Kofta was in tomato gravy. Too much use of red color. Partha was too thick. Can’t even think of something like this in San Francisco area.

Bad food. Nothing close to indian cuisine. Only thing that was edible was chapathi.tried aloo mattar,lamb tikka masala,channa masala,everything was equally bad.This place has lost it..terrible food. Not sure how they are serving uncooked food..literally pakoras are raw inside..I the salmon curry tasted super raw ..they could not even make Naan properly..never going back to this place ever

Love this place for years. Love Indian food. Chicken is so juicy and the flavors are awesome. I don’t eat spicy food and if you tell them mild it’s perfect. San Mateo Location has the best hours, San Francisco hours suck.
Unpleasant Environment . We went all the way from Fresno . Employees are so unwelcoming to the customer. They were busy in doing there own party and drinks .. and they put so loud Punjabi Songs environments was so noisy and unpleasant. Owner should pay attention on his employees .. their hospitality is not professional. Food was not that great. Would say they need to work on there quality of performance. We thought to ate dinner but after the whole atmosphere we change our mind and we went out ..Thank you

Today around 6 pm ordered vegetable pakoras for dine in, which were black and burnt, which I had to sadly discard. Punjabi chai on the menu card said $2, but my bill for 2 chais was 9.95. Very bad experience!

The lovely young gentleman host/server is so pleasant and kind. Really appreciate his gentle & attentive service any time I see him there.Also, best tikka masala sauce for miles and miles. Creamy, thick, delicious, reliable, consistent.

Was visiting San Francisco for work and I found this little gem walking down the street in downtown San Mateo. You can smell the spices from outside. It was so tasty, I took my leftovers with me on the plane.
