Update - new vegan empanadas are great! They are filled with mushroom and vegan feta, very filling and tasty. They have always had vegan options since they opened, delicious plantains rice and beans. It's a local small business with an owner who cares. They added vegan meats now as an option which was something I've been asking for. Updated from previous review on 2023-01-24

Cute spot. Food decent. Not worth going out of your way for, but worth checking out if you're in the area.

Wanted to love this place as a Cuban from SoCal. Was hoping for something close to Porto's or versailles. Unfortunately we ordered the whole menu and only really liked the salad and a few sauces... I would suggest to owner to take away the comino from the cooks. The cumin was way to overwhelming even for me who cooks with cumin almost every day. Hope the best for them...

The Bistec sandwich was really good with fresh ingredients. The Cubano sandwich was also good, but the pulled pork in it was a bit dry. The staff is also incredibly friendly.

This place was amazing! It’s small diner style just of the main road. It’s definitely a hidden gem. The staff was great. They explained the menu and some history of the restaurant. Very helpful in making selection and recommendations. We ordered a variety of food and it was all incredibly flavorful and enjoyable. I would highly recommend you stop here if you are anywhere in the area. And if you are traveling through, it’s worth the stop!

The food is very tasty. The flavors flow well together. The Lecon (pulled pork) is something special. And the maduros (plantains) are so good you will get addicted. Even the onions are flavored with hints of lemon.Parking: This restaurant has their own parking lot and there is street parking out front.

My favorite dish is the vegetable medley. I also really like the broccoli mushroom plate. The menu has veg options marked. It is a splurge to eat here but it is delicious! The inside is really colorful and there is a cute patio out front.
