Fernando's is a great vibe. The food is delicious. I ordered the prawns ala diabla without mushrooms and onions because I read on the reviews that they put too much. It was great and not too spicy - but I loooove spicy food so maybe it just wasn't caliente enough for me. The ingredients are fresh and tasty. The portions are huge but I happened to finish all of mine I just kept eating it way past my full belly. It came with chicken tortilla soup too which was also great. The chips and salsa alone is sooo good. But I had to pace myself. The ambience is so authentic and also very clean. Love the decor. We came for a birthday celebration and their service was so attentive. This place is perfect for large get togethers or intimate dining. The bar area is separate with some tables so you can get a little bit of both if you don't want things too quiet. I've been recommending Fernando's to everyone I run into. Enjoy!

The food wasn’t bad, but nothing was exceptionally great. The quesadilla was good but not cut into triangles. Carne Asada taco was also good, they charge like $3+ extra for that meat. It came with a chicken and cheese soup that was amazing. We did wait a while for our check. Waiters were really nice.

What can you say about a great restaurant? Very good food good service family ran. We had Carne Asada. Some of the best I've ever had. Will definitely be going back. Great chips and salsa which is a favorite of mine coleslaw give you as first course is most unusual.

The worst Mole sauce we have had. Really disappointing. Please try harder. Great Margaritas however.

I've been to Fernando's Mexican Restaurant many times over the years. The atmosphere inside is cool with its vibrant colors and the woodwork on the seats. If you like hearty food (like me!) and drink portions, that's what you'll get. The flavors have been consistently good. And their coleslaw is vinegar based. It's a small detail but I appreciate a place which offers cream free slaw (and not cause I'm vegan)! I've come to this place with family and several friends. The service is good and everyone's friendly.

Fernando's does that comforting version of cuisine that's a mash-up of Mexico, Texas, and California. It's not what you'd call "authentic Mexican" cuisine, and it's not what you want to eat on a diet, but it's oh so comforting. On top of that, the staff is wonderful. So helpful. So friendly. If you live nearby and want a Tex-Mex place to come back to over and over again, Fernando's serves food that's a big, warm hug on a plate.

My son and I love eating here! The staff is so friendly and warm. They make you feel like they're your primas or tias. The food is bomb. The chicken enchiladas are so full of flavor and just delicious. My son loves the burritos here. Thank you for always giving great service and serving amazing food :)

Pretty reliable consistent food - what you expect from a sit down mexican restaurant. You know what to expect, and that is what you get. What I really like here is the waitstaff and the bartenders. The waitstaff is always very friendly and welcoming, and they keep an eye on your water or margarita and know when to ask you if you'd like another or if you need more chips (yes, please!) I love the cadillac margarita, add an extra shot to combat the sweetness, or if I'm feeling guilty, I order a light margarita and ask for a double shot lol. I mostly like to come in here when I need a little sunshine and happiness in my day. Greeted like family. Love it.

I can't believe I never left a review for this place! I have been coming here for yeeeaaars! The service is outstanding and they really make you feel like family here! They have my favorite michilada recipe and I love their tequila selection. Try the Siete Leguas, it's my favorite and not easy to find. The milanesa is my go-to dish but I opt for a chimichanga to mix it up some times. Love, love, love this place!!!

Fernandos is one of the best Mexican restaurants on the Peninsula. Always friendly, prompt service, great dishes like queso fundido. The ambiance is typical family style plus bar, which is great

I had so much hope for this restaurant, however my husband and I were disappointed. My husband ordered an espresso burrito. His feedback was that it was ok, but not worth coming back for. I had the cheese enchilada combo with black beans and rice. The enchilada were so bad I could not eat them. The rice and beans were ok, with salsa added. This restaurant definitely is not worth coming back to. I am giving two stars because the service was great.

The food is good but I do not recommend ordering the salad there. I got severe food poisoning from eating their salad. The service is good and I always get sat quickly. The overall vibe is friendly, calm and nice.

The food the last two times had been the worst ever. They watered down the queso. On a separate occasion my enchiladas, rice and beans were overcooked. It's weird. They pick my plate up not asking why I didn't even touch my meal???? I'm starting to get tired of the food there.
