Literally has been 3 years since I last ate here! I was so excited to go but everything is different now! Sad to say the huge dissatisfaction and disappointment as they no longer have where you can walk up and select the items you want in your meal like previous but had to order from the table with much confusion as to how. 18$ total for one build your own burrito but they charge you $4 for meat and $3 more for guacamole only for your food to arrive and missing guacamole in both burritos and one burrito missing the carne asada! And when I took it to the counter to ask about the error the workers were terribly rude and unprofessional accusing that I ordered it likeThat! Then with an attitude asked for more proof besides my text received. I found the receipt on my safari and showed them. And with an attitude said they would remake it. Burrito arrived very smallCompared to the other and missing the guacamole. My guess told me it was ok just ignore it and when I asked for a couple limes I was rudely told by there manager that they only have them on Saturday with the menudo.... I said ok and walked away. It's a crying shame that people cannot provide customer service like before. You can't see what they are doing or putting in your food as the glass is now frosted over . I did aquire limes at the bar and was yelled at by the bar attendant. I went and sat down to eat and was approached by some lady who didn't even identify herself as an employee or anything and even had her badge turned around so we couldn't identify her as she began to rudely think she can reprimand me for aquiring limes at the bar!!!! She started with I been watching you since you walked in!!!!! I'm like what is wrong with you people! You mess up a 18$ burrito and then get mad when I take back to be corrected????? Sick horrible mistreatment of guest! Without patrons this business would fail tremendously! George Lopez please check on your store! They suck ! The ambiance was not Chicano vibes at all for being Mexican food. Bring back the jazz and Latino oldies live bands .... Bring back the walk up choose your topping in person option! Covid is over now let's get back to life....will I be back? Probably not unless they improve their quality of service and change their unpleasant unpopular attitudes! The customer is always right. Customer service and satisfaction is always #1 they serve your food in a dam plastic bag and is not presented well. Before it was served with great pride and presentation! Where's all the extra items that used to be offered? The menu is so limited

Good food but small portions. Orders are done via kiosk. Restaurant is clean. Good music !

Service is horrible. No personalization. $12.00 for a breakfast burrito that you can't customize because you have to order from a kiosk. The manager Yamida was absolutely no help either. I just wanted plain eggs. WOW!I won't come back.

I'd give zero stars if I could for the menudo. Really bad definitely not CHINGON......The tripe was very dark brown and looked like it was from 3 days ago. You gotta do better than this George......

Came here for the first time and had the carne asada burrito and churros. The burrito was a bit bland but the salsa leveled it for sure. The churros were flavorful with the caramel sauce. What made this experience horrible was the cashier told us ahead of time that we would get a text when our meal was ready. I waited 30 minutes even when it was not that crowded. Why? because they never texted me. I finally asked if my order was ready. The cashier looked at me and said, "it's been ready" in such a rude tone. That threw me off and ruined everything.

My wife and I came to Ya'amava fora Lionel Richie concert. We were hungry so we went to George Lopez' Chingon Restaurant. We have never been here, so it was confusing. We stood in line to order, only to be told that you have to order outside on amount or for debit or credit orders. The line I was in was for cash only. NO SIGNS TO STATE THAT. We went outside and I made my order first. It was like a Chipotle style ordering center, where you out together your meal. It didn't take my order first, so I had my wife order, then I made my order again. Then we went inside to find ourselves a seat. That was easy. They text your phone when your order was ready for pick up. We got our text and went to pick up our food. I stood in what appeared to be the only line. Only to be told I should have been in the other line. She looked mad, but helped me anyways. I told her, I have never been here before and that the ordering and pick up are confusing. She helped me anyways. My wife and I got bowls, like at chipotle. My wife's order was wrong, mine was fine. I ordered a tortilla on the side, just like I do at chipotle. The TORTILLA WAS AMAZING. Then I noticed someone in the window making them by hand. Man... the tortilla was great. It really complimented the food. My wife got a carnitas bowl and I got a Al pastor bowl. Both bowls were delicious. I also got a Michilada. Their Michilada mix was awesome. So delicious. The bar staff was more courteous. The 4 rating was due to the service. They should have someone at the door directing the customers. They should have better signage. The staff, which looked like a first line supervisor should have been more courteous and understanding. Good delicious.... Michilada.... Delicious. Tortilla....AMAZING!!!Yes, I would recommend this restaurant to all my friends and relatives. The restaurant was set up as cool as could be.

I have to admit the food isn't the best, but the customer service is amazing. I was having trouble ordering at the kiosk and 2 workers came to guide me step by step. If you have dining credits you are able to use it here by swiping the membership card. I got the chicken nachos with all the fixings, an order of churros and a soda. It was odd that they put the nachos in a covered bowl with a lid because most of the chips were soggy on the bottom. The churro tasted like bread with sugar. I got the caramel sauce even though I had ordered the chocolate sauce. Overall it's a good place to sit down and relax a bit since the restaurant is right next to the theater where we need to be for the concert. There are other dine in options like Rock n Brew or the buffet, if you just need something quick Chingon will do the job.

Parking, location, wait- 2Food, atmosphere, staff-5+Love the buildout of this fast casual restaurant- Brick, tin roof, murals, open kitchen, variety of seating (booths, high top, traditional), music. Love the food. generous portions, fresh ingredients, built to order. The burritos are huge (5 lbs?) and bowls are delicious, and served with homemade tortillas. The menudo is yummy and clear your sinuses spicy. The downsides are the parking, located in the back of the casino(I get it- they want you to gamble) and the wait (minimum 30+ minutes prior to ordering). All the food is packaged to go but i always have leftovers.I will definitely be back when in the area.

The food is always very tasty, fresh and portions are huge. Employees here are friendly, patient (as many people order custom orders often) and very friendly. Management here does a great job of leading a smooth operation. Restaurant is always clean, and fully stocked. If you play at the Yaamava Casino, your meals will be comped here which is a good thing.

I’m not sure about the other reviews, but from my experience, I didn’t have any missing items and tacos were nice! Especially compared from the other options on DD. Churros bites are great too!

Ordered via Uber Eats. Took over an hour when the initial estimate was 25 mins. Tacos came with no toppings whatsoever. Churros were cold, stale and no dipping sauce. Would never order again

This is an awful restaurant. Wish I could do 0 stars. Absolute waste of money and calories. Don’t waste your money. How can a restaurant sell such awful food? The tacos were drowning in sauce but the meat was dry. The portion of meat they sell for $21 is tiny. The green salsa tastes like nothing. Paid extra for salsa and Didn’t get it. The grilled jalapeño was super cold. The churro bites are over fried but gooey in the middle. The sauce that comes with the Churros tastes like cold burnt vanilla.

Gave a 4 only because they forgot to give me the chips and salsa I ridiculously paid $7.48 for and then had to get refunded through door dash today . but ..... as a taco lover, the concept of the tacos they presented me with was absolutely a 5 star. brilliant. delicious. the meat tender, marinated well and presented with perfection. this was definitely an extraordinary experience and I'm definitely ordering here again. if they can see this I appreciate the love and quality of the food. great job?
