Hesitant to try this spot out at first, but so glad we did because their burgers are so darn good, out of this world! Of the 7 signature burgers, we went for the Karaage Deluxe (fried chicken) and Menchi Classic (fried beef patty) and split them in half so we could both have a taste of each. We also got an order of the Banzai Fries to share. Both burgers were good but we both liked the chicken better. Hot and fresh, the chicken was juicy, flavor was phenomenal, and the kb sauce is bomb. The beef patty was thick and very crispy, a new taste for me, delicious! Banzai fries were hella good! They didn't skimp on the bulgogi. That with the nori, then kb sauce drizzled on top, at first bite I was looking to put in another order! Portion was enough to be shared between the both of us though. All 3 servers were so nice, all masked and gloved. Only wish we'd tried the amazing looking shakes. Next time.

Karaage Deluxe and Menchi Deluxe burgers with spicy sauce. Both delicious and filling. Great concept. We will come back for more.

I've heard about this place through social media and had to check it out. I ordered the tonkatsu deluxe it comes with pork cutlet, spicy bugoligi, shredded cabbage and spicy Mayo. The sandwhich was humongous. I was more than half way full eating half of it. We also got the banzai fries which is also huge and should be shared with two ppl. It's loaded with green onion, spicy pork and spicy Mayo too. If the spice is too much you could wash it down with nice cold matcha shake.

This place is fine. However, with the influx of chicken sandwiches from all fast food places, there's just no room for $12 sandwiches like this. Popeyes $4. Burger king $5 bogo w app. Mcdonalds $5.75 bogo with app. See? No room. Even chic fil a is like $5 right? The chicken in the popeyes sandwich is at least twice as big as this place. It was good. A bit bland. Not savory or salty enough. I enjoyed it tho.

Since my partner has started his new job, we made it a must to try all of the local eats on the road or near his workplace! Well, this place landed on our radar and after much contemplation, we knew we needed to try it! The name of the establishment is exactly what you'll get out of it... a karaage burger! Yum!! My partner, more on the rebellious and curious side of eating, decided to try their menchi katsu instead. Since he ordered something different, we both split our burgers to try both, woohoo, best of both worlds! And lemme tell you, if you like a juicy, yet crispy exterior that's garnished with a decadent sauce and greens, come to Karaage burger! The karaage burger is absolutely delicious! However they seasoned their karaage, it was so addicting that I finished the burger in 5 minutes or less lol. I did wish I had a little more veggies to compliment my burger and that it didn't fall apart in the end Nonetheless, I still finished that burger happily~ As for my partner, he ordered the menchi katsu and his burger was also really good! It had a nice breaded exterior and a juicy minced meat exterior. With each bite we took, meat juices gushed out! We were thoroughly impressed with how crispy and put together their menchi katsu was! However, it was a tad bland and we wished there was a bit more seasoning or salt. The umami fries were alright! Definitely crispy and crunchy and the nori gave it a nice fragrant smell, but we wished it had some salt added. The servers were all incredibly nice and fast to get our orders done, despite everything needing to be fried

I'd been a victim predatory marketing on Instagram. That victimization led me here for lunch. Totally delicious! Not so easy for the kids, they are very picky. I don't normally let them have milkshakes for lunch but hey, sometimes you just got to go with it. I got the Menchi deluxe and the tots. My wife got the Tonkatsu classic Kids got the Karaage and a Tonkatsu patty and Milkshakes. It took a while to fill our order, a Saturday afternoon and it was a little busy. They have 2 tables in the outside patio area. I feel like they might be hurting for business, just like all restaurants during the pandemic, this could lead to all sorts of issues that might cause a slowdown. Aside form that, I like to know the food is made to order and not just ready to serve anyways. The Menchi deluxe is a failure of good engineering. The bun was not strong enough to allow for complete and intact grip action. Just one of those sandwiches that after you take a few bites and put it down, it falls apart and is never the same. The tots were good, the other Tonkatsu Classic was great and the kids patties we good enough. This is not on my normal path but I would stop in again if I was in the area and feeling carnivorous.

IG has been spamming me with ads from this place so I finally gave in. Definitely a great foodie experience. - Karaage Deluxe: thick juicy piece of chicken fried well and with tangy slaw. Had it with the spicy sauce which isn't that intense to begin with, but the heat slowly builds and it was nice! - Menchi Deluxe: my friend had this so I'll only share what I heard from him. Extra large sandwich with a nice fried patty, which was juicy. He demolished it pretty quickly for such a big sandwich and said it was delicious. - Bonzai fries: loved the nori seasoning and the generous amount of pork included, but a little too much sauce for my taste. It left the fries soggy and too salty/overpowered by the sauce flavor. However, that's just my opinion because my friend finished them.

Chicken burger was juicy and moist ..for the price-too bad it doesn't come with fries. Dine in option is good esp. since it gets messy. They also have a restroom available. Parking is questionable since the lot gets full quick and small to be shared with other shops.

[IN A NUTSHELL] fast food chicken sandwich, meh restaurant [VERDICT] - MEH APPROVED [RUN-DOWN] A good fast food spot for chicken sandwiches. I honestly have no opinion on this restaurant because there was nothing that special and it was a normal sandwich place which I think was a little pricey and the taste was nothing special. [SCORE & ORDER] OVERALL: 3.33/5 * Karaage Deluxe - Spicy $10.49 (3.5/5) -Inside: Karaage (Fried Chicken), bacon, Tomatoes, Cabbage, KB Sauce - Enjoyed this karaage burger and it was actually not that bad. The chicken was crispy enough and the deluxe made it tastes more like a sandwich, although I could probably do with just the chicken and the bun. The spicy sauce was also a nice addition to the burger but also if you dip it in the Japanese mayo sauce (the sauce that comes with the fries). * Nori Fries $3.95 (3.5/5) -Inside: Fries (Nori) with Japanese Mayo Dipping Sauce -The nori fires were a great twist on actual French fries. Their fries are just normal fries and the nori had a nice mix to it. I honestly wouldn't get these fries because there aren't that special. * Tots - Salted $3.95 (3/5) -Inside: Tots - salt with Japanese Mayo Dipping Sauce -Tater tots were also not that special and just tater tots that came with Japanese mayo sauce which is a sweeter version of mayo. [SERVICE & ATMOSPHERE] (not reflected upon review score): A nice place, as of right now, there is no indoor seating. It was sort of quiet when we came in and there weren't that many people. Parking was super easy. The cashier was super nice and you need to ask for utensils and napkins.

Stopped by for one last meal on my last day in NorCal before my flight. No indoor or outdoor seating available yet. Was eager to try this place since I've heard great things about it but it was alright. We ordered each of the classics: Karaage- Was as expected and flavor was as decent. On the smaller side compared to other chicken sandwich places. Tonkatsu- This was as ok as well. Crispy and flavor is similar to the karaage one. Menchi- Best one out of the classics. Flavor was good and patty was juicy and flavorful. Would recommend this one out of the other classics.

SOLID sandwich! The chicken was pretty tender but I thought the pork cutlet was a bit dry. Definitely liked the karage classic better. Sauce was good and cabbage complemented everything well. I personally think they could have used a better bun, it was alright. Maybe a brioche bun?? I also wish there was a little more sauce but that's just personal preference. The staff was really nice!! Would definitely come again if I want a chicken sandwich

I had high hopes for this place, considering how high the ratings are on Yelp and Google. I ordered the Karaage Classic with a side of fries. It took about 10 minutes for my food to be done. I open the bag and grab the burger and the wrapper was so hot I dropped it back down, haha. I waited another few minutes to open it and was underwhelmed by the size of the burger. Then again, the burger was only $8.49. I've eaten a lot of fried chicken sandwiches/burgers during lockdown and this was definitely the smallest yet. Next, I open the fries. They looked nice and crispy. No nasty, limp, oily fries in my box! They were perfectly golden brown, but definitely could've used a bit more salt. I take a bite of my burger and the first thing that came to mind was it tasted like popcorn chicken from a boba place. Not what I was expecting! The sauce on the burger made it. If it wasn't for the sauce I definitely would've not finished it. Another thing I noticed about my burger was the patty itself. It was not 100% white chicken breast meat. It was DARK. And no, it definitely wasn't blood. It looked like thigh meat and breast meat pounded together. Chicken breast is a little chewy when fried. This was WAY TOO tender to be breast meat. Also, I don't understand why places need to slather on sauce so sloppily. I had sauce coming out of the back, making the top bun slide forward and end up all over the wrapper. The patty was a complete disappointment, that's why I knocked off 3 stars. I guess that's why it was so cheap. Definitely not coming back.

Omfg, the monster burger is insane. Great way to try all the meat, but jeez is it insane!! They also have a delicious tofu burger if you are a vegetarian. The kamikaze fries are also a great choice with the pork bulgogi.

My friend and I have had this place book marked for a while and we finally made our way over once we were in the area. I do have to mention that this place is not located in the best area. It was very sketchy and at times we felt very uncomfortable waiting in our car while waiting for food as there were two men walking around looking into other peoples cars. We decided to share some items so we got the Fries, Tots, and Karaage bites. The fries and tots weren't anything too special, they tasted like frozen food warmed up. We weren't really a fan of the chicken either. The girl helping us was not friendly and seemed like she hated her job. When we asked for extra sauce, she said she had to charge us, fine. When we were waiting to order, she seemed impatient. Overall, we were not impressed with our food, customer service, and the location. I will not be returning.
