7:45pm reservation; we were told it would be five minutes for our table, and were seated at 8:20pm. Michael was gracious as always. The pork Milanese and spaghetti pomodoro was delicious as usual, and a relatively good value.

We had our Italian family gathering at La Lanterna on a Sunday afternoon. They opened specially for our event. I had made all the arrangements in advance with Michael, including the menu. The event went off perfectly and flawlessly. The food, from the appetizers to the deserts was outstanding, especially the gnocchi. This restaurant is a perfect place to have a special event! And there is no charge for the room.

Our meal was lovely. The food was exceptional. We were the first ones in the restaurant and we got a really nice table for two. I am sorry I don't remember the name of the gentleman that served us, but he was really attentive and seemed happy to serve us. We will most definitely return as it was a lovely experience .

Have been to La Lanterna a few times now and it is always a great experience. Service is great and the food is very good. Wine list is a little limited but well selected. A great neighborhood restaurant.

Had lunch today with 3 friends. Couldn't be happier. Ordered the calimari, Caesar salad and chicken parm with spaghetti. Everything was delicious as well as tasty martinis. Had the chocolate desert and went home happy. Also very friendly service. Will be returning soon

Lovely place for dinner. Many great choices on menu plus specials. Their salads are always a delicious addition to main courses. Three of us loved rigatoni with ragu sauce, spinach salad, cream mushroom soup.

Another great meal with Hector as our server. We brought friends who had never been before but promised to return. We love this neighborhood restaurant. Food, drink and service is excellent!

Three of us had a lovely lunch in quiet elegant surroundings. The salads were large and delicious and we enjoyed the gnocchi and ravioli. We plan to return. Very comfortable and relaxing with attentive service.

First I want to mention this restaurant recently got a string of 5 star reviews that looks really fake, pretty sure most are done by friends. Second I want to say the pasta sauce tasted just like the store bought Prego kind. It's impossible restaurant made pasta sauce tastes exactly like artificial chemicals. Pasta seems more like a stir fry, and risotto is more soup with rice. not risotto as in the italian kind, not even the proper rice is being used. Service is non existent from the owner unless you're her friend. Not cool.

Wife and I had lunch at La Lanterna. She had Calamari Fritti which was crisp and came with two nice dipping sauces. I had penne with sausage and mushrooms. Both dishes were delicious and ample. Muted music was a welcome change from most restaurants which somehow believe loud, frenetic music adds to the enjoyment of a meal. Highly recommended.
