This place looks very modest both outside and inside but wow does the food quality deliver. A Salvadorian friend of mine told me about this place. The Sopa de Pata had an amazing amount of flavor. It could definitely win an Umami award. The Pork Bean and Cheese Pupusa was my favorite. The Pupusas were some of the softest and best I've had. Easy parking in the shopping center parking lot. I will definitely come back here again.

I was no my lunch break and had to leave and asked for a refund, and then all of a sudden on one speaks English very coinvent, however when i ordered they spoke perfect english. go to san Mateo for pupusas to America's house and pupusaseria much better and cheaper.

I work all over the Bay. Been to a lot of restaurants. This place by far has THE best pupusas. Introduced to me by a Salvadoran who said they are the best. He was right!I love the revueltas. It's cheese, beans and pork.

Called ahead to be able to pick up my food Tuesday around 5pm no one there when I arrived 20min later my food was not readyWhen I pay they just started to make the food i had to wait for another 25 min for my pupusas to be ready I don't see the point of calling ahead to order Not the best food but ok Service needs improvement

This has been our go to place for some time now, I'm just finally taking the time to give them a review. We normally place a phone order and bring it home, this place is a little too loud for us. Today I ordered pupusas revueltas (chicharrón and cheese) combo. It's 3 pupusas with a side of rice and beans. The pupusas have the perfect amount of masa and cheese. The beans and rice are so much better if you mix them together, the rice is a little bland. My husband had the same combo but his pupusas were with harina de arroz. The only reason I give them 4 stars and not 5 is because they don't have the best service, it's truly a hit or miss. I will not let that interfiere with the amazing pupusas

Ordered yuca with chicharrón and the yuca was old and hard. The order only had 3 pieces of chicharrón. Will not come back.

I like to come to this place when I want comfort food. Like home made food. When I want some good soup or when you sick and you need to orden a good soup this is the place that's you need to think about it. Either meat or chicken soup highly recommend. Full of fresh vegetables. Is a very simple place but food taste good is always fresh made when you ordered. The people on charge are very friendly. Their prices are also very good. I also ordered popusas to go. I like their popusas because they are not greasy and good taste. Their portion are always on the big size in all the dishes I been trying so far.

Friendly service and home-cooked food! Ivan at the cash register was super nice - we ordered the bistek encellolado and my friend had the carne asada. Both dishes were good - the food takes a little longer than normal to arrive to the table but Ivan said everything was cooked to order. Delicious food, lots of it and very affordable prices. Clean restroom and restaurant overall. I would eat here again.
