Came for a team event with 6 people. Had to sign up and wait for a table. But didnt take long.We each ordered a noodle with some apps to share. All the food was great. Super authentic northwestern food. Prices were standard bay area prices.Would recommend for a quick meal.

I ate here 2x in a row.. 3rd time this week… this place is so good ???I love the braised beef stew soup! I love the belt flat noodles, it’s so fun to eat! Also doing take out I love how convenient they pack everything! Thank you for the amazing noodles!
Huge portions, fast service, delicious food! The braised beef noodle soup with Chinese pickles was amazing, and I loved that I could customize with my preferred noodle type. (The wide flat noodles are hard to find sometimes but they’re my favorite!)

Highly recommend their pork intestine noodle soup! It's a new item on their menu and it's quite delicious. They also give a good amount of noodles unlike most places. Not a lot of adjustments when ordering.. you can choose the type/size of noodles but can't remove items like cilantro or scallions if you hate those. Spiciness is pretty much set too.

Meh. I've been a few times, most to try different things and figure out why this place gets rave reviews. Nearest I can figure is that I just don't know what "authentic" cuisine is, but without that knowledge, things here just fall flat.The broth for the noodles is rather bland. I recommend getting the "long wide" noodle option, because those are the only noodles that seem different than what you can get from the grocery store.Anything listed as "spicy" isn't. You can tell there's some chili there, but it's mostly just a fruity flavor and no chili spice.Anything listed as "crispy" isn't. Chewy, gummy, greasy, soggy maybe, but not crispy.I mean, maybe this is the perfect representation of a cuisine you get in your hometown, and power to you if this is what makes you happy, but if I'm looking for a tasty bowl of noodles and broth, or basically anything else on the menu, I'll go elsewhere.

Ordered a nice bowl of Beef noodles, it's only a little spicy which was great. $19+tax which is more on the pricey side for my liking but 9/10 for taste.

I had visited this place after having walked by it many times when I came to San Mateo for food. The wait was quite long as it was an estimated 40 minutes but I believe we ended up getting seated after around 25 minutes. The restaurant was definitely quite packed as it was around lunch time but the seating arrangement was still comfortable. We decided to get a chili oil pig ear for appetizer and then got the hand pulled noodles. There were so many options for the type of noodle but I landed on the thick noodles and the texture was perfect! The flavor of the soup was super savory and hearty but also very clear at the same time. The noodles had the perfect Al dente texture. Overall, one of my new favorite places to go to for beef noodle soup!

This is simply an amazing place! Its food is outstanding. The hand pulled noodles and soups are just terrific. Very authentic. The service is pretty standard for good Chinese. You scan a QR code and order, then pay at the end of the meal. Lots of mixed folks come so the ambiance is pretty casual.

Cute spot in active area, busy place but Worth The Wait! The handpulled noodles were the perfect texture, and I love that you have different options for the style. I got their classic Authentic Lanzhou Pulled Noodle and loved how deep the flavor was and how much food was in a bowl. I would come again and try different options I think they'll all be worth the re-visit!
