First time to Pacific Catch in San Mateo and was not disappointed. Brought a guest traveling from another country and we enjoyed a d delicious meal. The staff is very hard-working, but they were understaffed that day. Food is delicious restaurant as well designed and impeccably clean. I'll be back there for sure.

My "Ladies Who Lunch" group met at Pacific Catch and had a wonderful time. OUr server, Jordan, was just attentive enough and extremely helpful. The food was excellent - everything I tasted was delicious and perfectly prepared. I am very happy that the boxes provided at the end were biodegradable cardboard! We will be back!

There were only 2 waiters for the whole place. I was already done with dinner when my second beer came. Needed to wait for everything. Food was good but almost eclipsed by not enough staffing. I can't blame the waiters but management yes.

Unnecessarily loud music in a room with bad acoustics. Food OK, but not special. Staff was friendly and competent.

I brought some friends to Pacific Catch in San Mateo to try their Happy Hour Menu (M-F, 3-6 pm). It's a good way to enjoy their food at an affordable price. The food were so fresh and delicious! We ordered their Sushi, Ceviche, Sticky Ribs, and Coconut Shrimp. The service here is great. We had a great time! I made my reservation using Open Table which is very easy to use. We will be back!

Exceeded my expectations; pricey for the food but they give a large quantity so it’s not so bad. Came here for a coworker’s birthday.I reserved ahead of time on open table. The max it can take is 6 people so I made multiple reservations.Staff is friendly.

We are frequent visitors to Pacific Catch San Mateo , but this time we were disappointed with the service . It took a while to order, then food start coming when we did not even have any cutlery , then drinks never came until we asked about it.. they were busy , but not that busy for Sunday night

My wife & I really like their whole menu. The service is excellent & their seating options are both indoor & outdoor, and are very comfortable and accessible. Whether you want cubby-style seating or outdoor sunshine, both are options. I do *not* appreciate that they add a hidden service charge to bills (3%?). This is very misleading & I just do not condone this behavior by restaurants--they should simply raise their prices, it's still worth it!

Love, love, love this place. I ordered the mixed catch. My wife ordered the salmon curry bowl. And we shared the firecracker salmon sushi. Amazing. The service was amazing. This is our new spot.

I have been to Pacific Catch many times and have never reviewed them- it's about time. They have a great variety of food to choose from, though I usually get different options of fish tacos because they are so good. The appetizers are all great- coconut shrimp, cabo calamari and guaca-poke are our top favorites. My sister loves all of the ceviches. Other more filling main courses I have had are the Sea Bass, Salmon and Yellowtail. The atmosphere is casual and it is very close to the movie theater- so that is handy. During peak hours, street parking nearby can fill up but there are parking structures on 2nd Ave, one very close by. B Street is blocked off entirely for parking for that block due to outdoor dining at some of the restaurants.

*PLEASE READ* I love this place, I come here frequently. Food and drinks amazing. Today though had a very bad experience I witness the manager go off for now reason on an employee it was very nasty. Never seen nothing like it. The manager honestly looked like he was all coked out. His name is James. Guy always gave me a weird nasty vibe and today he lived up to it very much. If this manager stays here I won't be brining my family back. Please fire him! Get rid of him ASAP.

Following a real estate photo shoot, my daughter and I treated ourselves to a delightful brunch at Pacific Catch. As we observe no meat on a Friday for Lent, we were thrilled to discover a variety of fresh options that exceeded our expectations. The sushi bowl and the poke & ceviche trio were standout dishes, boasting exceptional freshness and quality that truly delighted our taste buds. It was a joy to savor every bite and appreciate the genuine flavors of each ingredient. We were equally impressed by the excellent service and efficiency of the staff. Despite the bustling atmosphere, our orders were promptly served, allowing us to relax and soak up the sunshine as we dined al fresco before the rain for the next days.Overall, our experience at Pacific Catch was nothing short of fantastic. From the delicious food to the warm hospitality, it was the perfect way to unwind after a busy morning. We look forward to returning for another culinary adventure soon
