First you have to locate the business which is on side street inside a food mart. Orders are placed on a kiosk and you receive a text when order is ready with a food locker #. You press the locker number in the text and the locker magically opens. The icecream was good, I ordered the caramel swirl. Could have a bit more caramel swirl too. It has a bit of saturated fat but also poly and monounsaturated that balances that out a little. Beware of the sweetners some may want to avoid.Parking: Business is on a side street with about 12 pull in parking spaces, more on the main street.

I ordered OG kimbap and beef kimbap from Yumkimbap. They were excellent, and far exceeded my expecation. The ingridents were fresh and the amount of rice included was just right.It will be difficult to compare other kimbaps to Yumkimbap.

Veggie kimbap was very good although it could use a little more seasoning. Freshly made.Was given a free taste of the cocolate Nutella mochi-- this was really a treat!! Mochi was very soft and fresh.The guy at the reception was friendly and helpful.

I found this place on yelp. I didn’t realize it was not a sit down. But ordering was very easy and the food came out fast. I ordered Kim bap and it was delicious and fresh. I also got to try the chocolate mochi and it was very tasty. I will definitely be ordering from here again.

Little awkward for the first-timer. You go in and show your order screen on the ipad. The locker will unlock with your food waiting inside it.Just FYI, can’t pick up early. I ordered mine for 7-7:15 pick up. Wouldn’t “find” my order til 6:56, pick up after 7.
Food: we got food from Hong Kong cafe, food was delicious , packed well and tasted fresh. This place can be confusing because it's a pick up only spot, serving a few other restaurants. Service was also slow, but they were busy so, just be patient when you get there. Parking can be tricky if you don't find one on the block.

Ok for now, I'm giving it 4 stars just because I haven't really experienced everything yet. So here we go. What a great find!!!! There's not much for a sign, just know it's 66 E 21st in San Mateo and just follow the small signs on the doors/walls, pull on doors and you'll get there. Our first time so we didn't order before going. Totally inconspicuous place, but I didn't care and pulled on doors until one was opened. It's not the door that has 66 E 21st on it. Nothing much inside. Two machines to order food. I was looking for Sunshine Cafe, but it turns out this is like one of those Dash kitchen thing. Yes I'm a little old school, but I'm getting there. There were other restaurants listed. OMG!!!!! Since we had our minds set on Sunshine, we stuck with that for now. The person working there was soooooo nice. Not sure how it works or who they work for, but she said she'd tried Sunshine Cafe and it was really good so we were set. The machines listed all the other restaurants and they looked great! Even though we ordered when we got there, it took less than 20 minutes and we got one of those baked rice plates. There's street parking, but usually taken up by the nearby business. If you go down the short block you'll find parking. Will def come and try the other places.

San Mateo really has more food options than ever but this place is great for simple, delicious healthy takeout with a great selection. Only compliant is checkout system not able to handle orders across kitchens yet. Also a bit bigger sign outside will help. Really hoping them to do well and thrive here.
