EhhhI was willing to pay extra for a preserved egg but was denied as a business why would you deny a costumer wanting to pay extra for an item on the side it just baffles me. If that item is expensive just let me know and I’ll pay for it money is not an issue if it’s a $10 dollar egg then it’s a $10 egg I’m willing to pay.

Love the Curry Katsu Pork rice plate! Portion is big and curry paste is delicious. If you are craving for Hong Kong style cafe, this one is definitely on your bucket list.

Food is still really good here. We've almost everything. For today i wanted to highlight their service. It was great!!! Wow, the waitresses were super friendly and accommodating. This new location is a bit small but a slight upgrade from their last location. I would have updated it to a five star but the broth was just lacking flavor today. We will still come here for comfy Hong Kong type foods. This is about the best with parking.

Got the pork and preserved eggs porridge and it was really good. It was seasoned well and the right consistency. The Chinese donuts were smaller and more oily than I'm use to, but otherwise it's a great place to get porridge at prior to 11AM in the morning. Called in for take out and it was ready in 5 minutes. Very affordable also. It's located in a plaza so parking was not an issue.

We came for the Japanese cuisine - Inshou. Instead of, we got this HK style cafe. Man, if you take over someone else’s business location, at least change to a different name. This is really misleading. It feels like you want to take the fame of the previous Inshou. The store is big. Service was attentive and quick, but not in a friendly way.The food was just okay. We ordered Hainanese Chicken over rice, Wonton noodle soup, Shrimp dumplings and Chilled milk tea.Dude, I honestly thought the black circle in the picture was a label or sticker. Turned out it was a hole in the middle of bottle. Felt so cheated. And it tasted too sweet. The chicken rice was very salty. The wonton noodle had weird ingredients. Typical wonton didn’t have peanuts. This one had. Both my husband and I could taste the peanut flavor in the wonton, which weirded us out. The only normal was shrimp dumplings. And, the food was kind of on the pricey side.Dietary restrictions: Please ask for dish’s ingredients. We tasted peanuts in wonton, which shouldn’t have had.Parking: Free parking lots in the shopping centerKid-friendliness: Kid’s high chairs. No kid-friendly utensils.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair entrance and tables

We got the congee and flat noodles with ribs. Great food and more than the two of us could eat. Staff were friendly to me.

This place use to be Japanese, now it's hk style cafe.Service is TERRIBLE AND RUDE. While ordering, we asked to cancel something and wanted to add quite a few other items, the server literally without a word walked off and started serving other people then after couple minutes came back to finish our order, why??!!The food was cheaply made, it tasted decent. Disappointed and not recommend.

I bought 2 dishes from this place yesterday. Vegetable bean curd rolls and a sesame balls. It cost about $16. I was very disappointed. First of all, they out the bean curd in a small plastic container and they're all smooshed. And the bean curd rolls were falling apart when I tried to heat it up. The portion was very small. The sesame balls were mini ones. I believed there were 7 mini sesame balls ? And it was about $6.50+tax. And the bean curd rolls was $8.50+tax. I was so disappointed with the portion of the food. I understand the prices has gone up for most of the restaurants, but for this amount of food, I definitely won't go back again. And honestly, the 2 dishes I bought were not that good either.

Inshou cafe took over the old inshou Japanese restaurant.Maybe it's not fair to rate a Hong Kong cafe over a Hainan chicken rice but they have it on the menu so it's fair game.Hainan chicken rice: 3/5. Chicken was tender but tasted more like a Cantonese blanched chicken with the ginger scallion oil. The rice was lacking all the flavors that usually comes from rice cooked with schmaltz and spices.Baked pork chop rice: 4/5. Not a familiar taste compared to other hk cafes and this sauce was significantly less sweet compared to its usual counterpart. The sauce almost seemed like a demiglace with a darker color. Quite tasty but a lot blander (not necessarily a bad thing in a hk cafe)Will try their milk teas and congees in the future.

Their selection of food included typical HK style cafe items. We ordered the pan fried egg baked pork chop over rice and the special in fish broth with egg noodles. Both were solid. Their menu was surprisingly short though, but their breakfast menu looked good so I plan to go back and try it sometime. The prices do seem high at first but they are actually average for the area.
