It's was our first time, and sadly, they will be closing at the end of the month. Wish I had known about this restaurant sooner. The food is super yummy, and the staff are the nicest and friendliest. It was such a great experience, especially getting to see the belly dancer up close. Definitely recommend even if they are closing soon.

Absolutely amazing Ambiance and food. Definitely worth coming down and getting the five course feast before they close their doors permanently on August 26th after 45 years of doing business in San Pedro. Just another casualty of covid and being forced to pay the property owner double the rent to make up for when the government shut everything down.

If you have drove by this restaurant a hundred times and wondered if you should go in the answer is YES you should. It's fun and the food and drinks are good and the service is friendly. It's a fun night out and great for date night. They have belly dancing entertainment as well. It's great for special occasions as well. I recommend :))

The owner here is very racist towards black people. While I can respect that they have a dress code it should be enforced for everyone. He denied service to a black couple for having shorts on however in the video that’s now viral it shows white women wearing the exact same shorts but he didn’t deny them service. During slavery black people were denied education, drinking from the same fountain as white people, etc and now being denied nutrition for wearing the same thing as other customers. This is wrong.

I went to this restaurant because of the belly dancing. Today was a birthday party for one of my dancer friends. I couldn't even eat my bastilla. I are here 20-odd years ago. The food wasn't good then. It's not good now. You're probably ok with the kebabs, but do not under any circumstances order the bastilla.

This was my fourth time to dine at this restaurant. We only eat here with groups of family or friends, on special occasions. This was celebrating New Year's Eve Day, 2023. We always have to make reservations first, before dinning at this restaurantThe restaurant opens in the evenings . And only dinner is served here. Breakfast or lunch is not served here. The restaurant walls decorations and seats are absolutely magnificent. And the food here is great too, with an African touch. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is always fantastic. The waitresses are very professional and again the food is always delicious. We all loved and enjoyed the "Belly Dancer", the lady. Her dances are so heavenly, with her special traditional Moroccan Angel- like - Attires. That made our night very special, and memorable. The restaurant have parking area at the back. And have handicapped accessible doors.

This review is for the 5 course meal bought on may, 2023. Would like to start with the positive: great service, good cocktails (got the margarita) , ok ambiance.Negative: The primary reason my husband and I came to this place it was because we came to the same location 14 years ago when we were dating and the food was amazing ! This time, however, there's a significant difference in the taste of the food, and presentation. Also, outside of place looks like it's more of a night club than a restaurant. Going back to the food, we ordered the lamb, the lemon chicken tangier and the falafel with hummus. The lamb was dry , pieces were small, and it wasn't tender. The lemon chicken was nice however it tasted more like well done boiled chicken with chicken bouillon. No distinct Moroccan spice or flavor also no taste of the lemon, the most disappointing was the hummus. I'm almost sure they added s thickener to the hummus the texture was fluffy instead of the pasty texture. Also it barely tasted like hummus (garbanzo beans is the main ingredient in hummus). If you go by bypass the meal and go for the fries. I read it was good. .

This place was a lot of fun! We did not expect a whole ass belly dancing performance but it was super fun to watch! I liked it so much I went twice in one week! I will say their food is not for everyone but although their menu is very small, it's super tasty. I had the steak kabob dinner along with veggies and rice and yummm!! Their hummus selection is super tasty too and their pita bread is so fluffy! I love how they come to wash your hands with rose water on your table, the decorations make you feel like you are def in Morocco. The staff is top tier! Def will be back when I'm in San Pedro again !!

I give 5 stars because my friends and I had a great time there. The performer was professional and lovely. She taught us how to dance and everyone really enjoyed the time. The server and bartender were very friendly. It was impressive that the food was good too. I like this place.

Very entertaining evening. I knew we were in for a fun time from the moment we started with a hand-shower at the table. We did the $35-5 course meal, and it was plenty of food... especially with the garlic fries we added (and the monkey bread dessert). The belly dancing was wonderful, and during the second set she invited guests up to join her. The service was very attentive. Check out Groupon for significant savings!

We saw this on Groupon bought the 100.00 for 60.00. Pretty good deal. If I could, would give 3 1/2. But I can't, so I am sticking with 3 based on the food. So, first, the place is very old looking inside. The interior needs a huge upgrade. Authentically, it was the right decor, but it just felt old. So nothing fancy here. I was a little overdressed. It is a pretty casual place. No dress code. Customer service was outstanding. There was only 1 hostess. She was also the server. She was very kind and worked her tables pretty fast considering it was only her. The menu is very limited. They have 2 choices for 2 dinners, 25.00 per person or 35.00 per person. There is a very small appetizer menu also. The food, although presented nicely, was very, very basic. Absolutely nothing stood out except the garlic fries. We ordered the feast for 2. We had Chicken Tangine-5/10. Tasted like boiled chicken noodle soup. The chicken was tender and the broth was good.Shrimp with garlic-6/10. Literally..4 shrimp. Way too small to be a main course. They should tell you that when ordering. Chicken Kabobs-8/20. 2 big kabobs with nice flavor. Big chunks of flavorful chicken and peppers.Salad, rice, couscous and bastilla. Basic. Spicy cigars were like lumpia or spring rolls. They were okay. 6/10. Garlic Fries 9/10. Big shareable portion. Very good garlic flavor. The show was cute. The dancer was friendly and flirtatious!!! We loved it. For the Groupon price, we ended up spending the whole 100.00. If I had paid the full price, can't say I would recommend. The food needs to be better and the decor needs to be updated. However, it was fun and a nice change of pace. Checkout the Groupon deal ...you might like it.
