No idea why they're so rude I'm half Black & Mexican so I know what good food is especially Mexican. Their burrito was just below average to be charging anywhere near $12 for just some burnt asada burrito con frijoles y arroz and just a little cilantro. Save your money and go somewhere else, for less than $15 you can have great services and crema con guacamole with your bean & rice meat burrito literally anywhere but there

a MUST GO for authentic tacos. i'll say it again in case you were distracted the first time: STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND GO HERE TO GET TACOS.Other reviews say the prices were too high. all we got were tacos, and they were $2.25 each for a SUBSTANTIAL amount of meat. The tortillas were perfect "street" size (~4"). Served doubled, because you have to. The Chili Verde was incredible as is (no salsa required as it already had some great sauce). The Carnitas was LEGENDARY. we added a little bit of the green salsa and whoosh - i was blown away.Probably the best, authentic, mexican style taco i've ever had!

Man, I have really been enjoying going to Guanajuato market a couple of times a month for breakfast. If you get their early, you can get chilaquiles, potatoes with chorizo, nopales (usually sold with the potatoes), beans and rice. It's very good. If you get there in the am in a weekday, you can get eggs with that stuff too. They also have chicharones, carnitas, salsa, que so Fresca, and a ton more. One day I made the tragic mistake of getting there late one day, and it was almost nearly sold out. All they had left was something called boches. I had never heard of it, and the person behind the counter gently suggested that I might not like it. I got it anyway. It turns out that boches are pig stomached. I think they cooked them similarly to carnitas, which was cooking them until tender, then frying them a bit. They were good, but I wouldn't recommend it for everyone. Nice deep pork flavor, with a good amount of chew. I haven't gotten anything from the butcher dude yet, but I look forward to it. Super good! I'll make this a stop along the way each time I go to Acacia Bakery when I go.

They literally serve you a small portion of food when the Food prices are very high , the cooking ladies talk so much and not pay attention at all

First let me start by saying the staff has been consistently rude every time I've been there recently. My niece got a Gordita and you would think that for 7$ you would get a decent amount of meat and or the other ingredients. They served the Gordita with a small spoonful of meat , honestly a laughable amount for paying 7$ for a Gordita . My mom got a sope with chiacharon and nopales and I kid you not it was 2 pieces of chicharrón . This is used to be a childhood staple but the new staff has ruined what used to be one of the best eats in town .

This is my go to spot in town. They have the best carnitas burritos and deal on them on Wednesdays. For the price with the quantity and quality you honestly can't beat it. The workers are always so kind. I've been coming to this meat market for years mostly for the hot food. But even the meat section is good. It's a perfect little market with some really great food.

Best Burrito's in San Pedro.

Selection is great, prices are average amongst all of the local carnecerias. The older lady at the burrito/carnitas counter came off as rude and disinterested. Repeated our request 3 times, and I'm fluent in Spanish. Insisted on us accepting her mistake in the weight of the carnitas we've ordered. "Yo no puedo adivinar!" (I can't guess the weight) all while the product was on the scale. As if they're doing us a favor by being in business. Now I remember why I haven't visited this location in 20 years. Show some interest in the customers that take the time and stop in. That shouldn't be too much to ask.

It was the first time I went and the last time the vegetables were in a deplorable state and where they cook very dirty I didn't like it at all
