DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!Catered an event for our very small non-profit in May, 2023. Sent a sub to work the event. Sent food that was NOT what we ordered (cold cuts & fruit instead of hot plates) and the server prepared the food without gloves.We asked for a refund (not including the deposit) and the owner agreed to it. Then claimed he had sent it (he hadnt) then offered a "Gift Certificate" (as if we will EVER use his services again) . He has now told us to sue him - cause he doesnt think we know he lives in Texas now.Save yourself time, frustration and money. Mr Crapzano simply isnt worth the risk.

Unprofessional, lacks problem solving skills and operates out of integrity. 0 out of 5 stars. They ghosted our event. They never showed and who knows if they lied about a fire in their kitchen. They used that excuse for another person in this review thread - we talked with them and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. I’ve chaired many big events and I worked directly with Joseph the owner and his wife the accountant of La Panzano’s catering from Texas to coordinate their services for a theatrical event and anniversary celebration in LA. They both assured us their team would deliver a curated selection of food, wine and waitstaff. Two hours prior to the event they didn’t show - 1 hour prior we got through to them but they didn’t offer to help as the theatre patrons started to arrive and the board members rushed to the grocery store To make hor‘d’oeuvres and called other service providers to help. They didn’t bring the wine or offer their waitstaff - nothing. Unacceptable. Would not recommend.

Would give 0 stars if we could! La Panzano dropped the ball in a way that totally astonished us. We had a big anniversary event in LA for our business and hired La Panzano for the catering. We were in touch with Joseph (the owner) for months in advance and everything seemed smooth and ready. He was very friendly and accommodating and communicative pre-event, then on the day of, he texted me his kitchen was flooded 3hrs before the event. I guess he was so frustrated with his situation that he just shut down or something because he did not communicate well. He actually said he could bring some stuff, but that turned out to be a lie - he completely ghosted. And there was no apology, ever. That was bizarre to me. Not until AFTER the event when he realized how much of a bind he put us in, having to start from square one 3 hours before an event (!!), did he apologize. It was truly unbelievable.
