I've heard about this place and decided to stop in tonight... and so glad I did!! I ordered 3 hard shell shredded beef tacos and a chile relleno burrito. They exceeded my expectations and I'm definitely going to be coming back A LOT ??I highly recommend you stop in to see what authentic Mexican food tastes like when it's prepared properly....Thank you Mr Valdez Mexican restaurant, you made me very happy tonight!❤️

My son and I went in for lunch yesterday and were very happy with our visit.The owner and his wife were very friendly and the Chile Verde burrito my son had was fresh and generously portioned. I got the molé enchiladas and was very pleased.Their chips and salsa was interesting- the salsa had a sweet tang I’m not used to.I would definitely come again!

I'm so glad these guys are open again! I've never been to a Mexican restaurant anywhere in L.A where the cook slices fresh onions and lemons for every order. They fried the chips on order, and the meats were incredibly fresh and grilled to the perfect point.Yes, there's plenty of Mexican restaurants around here and everywhere in this city, but Mr.Valdez really stands out.The couple that took care of us were super kind and you can tell they really care about their business.Will be coming back more often than I'd like to admit!

Someone shared some chicken soup from Mr. Valdez Mexican Foods and I absolutely could not believe the tenderness of the chicken. The flavor of the broth was was outstanding, not under- or overly-seasoned. I will definitely visit this establishment and look forward to exploring the menu.
