Had my "as usual" amazing lunch with my family on a weekday. I have to admit the parking is not ideal but am grateful to still be able to enjoy some great, fresh seafood and that the hard workers there are still able to work during the new construction. I love the set up where they deliver to you and the service was great. After lunch we took our traditional 45 minute boat ride...yes, the boat excursions are still there! If you don't want to deal with long lines and hassle finding parking, a weekday is the way to go.

Seafood here isn't as great as it used to be. This place has become soooooooooooo expensive. Every little thing is extra, and it's a big extra fee. Sad...been coming here since I was a kid. I have wonderful memories here but we won't be returning. I rather learn how to make this seafood platter at home for a portion of the cost.

DELICIOUS!! So arriving we were a little bummed because we didn't realize they are under construction so it's set up like food truck and outdoor tables and fences block the view of the ocean which honestly that and the food was why we decided to come here but let me tell you the food didn't disappoint it was very good flavorful and fresh. We got shrimp trays and it's so much food defiantly sharing trays and worth the price, we also ordered the oysters and so yummy. Micheladas are 32 oz and so yummy a must to go with the delicious food. Staff was very friendly you order with a qr code and they bring you the food. As for restrooms they have portable but very clean and if you come down just take a walk after your meal perfect afternoon thank you and can't wait to come back once the renovation is done!

Saturday 3/16/24 Dinner at Ports O' Call Village in San Pedro with my cousin. Enjoying michaelda, shrimp cocktails, fish ceviche, and oysters by the oceanfront with a calm weather and no rain with fresh air and some smell of the seafood cooking. The old Ports O Call Village has been demolished and plans to rebuild it is under construction which will take about two years according to a staff working there (unconfirmed). Right now, there are trailers and tents set up for the fish market food vendors and customers. They have set up a high technology ordering system. Each table has a bar scan with table number where you can order through your cell phone and they will bring your ordered of foods and beverages to your table; very convenient and no need to wait in line. Great ordering system!I can’t wait until they are done rebuilding the buildings where it will be more permanent and return to it original Ports O’ Call Village’s essence that I’ve known before. Or to start a new tradition in all the newly built buildings.David YoungRestaurant Enthusiast

Paid for parking way in the boonies, took a trolly to the small area outside between construction & I thought it was a small swap meet! They told us at the entrance to pick a bench, scan a code & order our food. I thought I could walk to see what I want to eat, nope. I got yelled at by some lady saying I couldn't go near the food vendor trucks & that I had to stay on the bench. Like wtf. I left. Not going back until its Fully remodeled! Place is a Joke right now! Don't waste your gas to go all the way over there people!

When is this place going to have a building that can be run to handle this type of environment! We've been waiting for over 2 years ! What's the hold up !!??!!??!! It's pathetic that you keep on having us , the buying consumer , have to deal with this BS! I'm sure you can understand that we need to get this sh/t going ! Stop using our money and start doing something about this !!! I just went there on 3/16/24 and it honestly is a bleeping mess !! No parking , no room at all ! Who makes up these decisions to continue keep this place open? I for one would not want to continue to have it open . Close it until YOU can give us some type of information as to when it's going to be ready ! Not this temporary b/s that is happening right now ! A pissed off patron who wants answers.

Food here was amazing! Great seafood even though their location is out of the ordinary due to construction. Easy ordering from the table via a QR code and it's brought to you.

New Location Subpar service and over priced. I really wanted to enjoy my experience here since the old fish market was a big favorite of mine. The whole ambience is gone, they have a small covered area providing shade but not enough. Lots of tables with umbrellas that don't provide enough shade, when you walk in they tell you to order from the QR CODE located on the table. Food was not the same the shrimp trays use to have the shells on so when cooked it held all the flavor inside now the shells are removed before cooking that flavor Burst isn't there anymore, the food service was good and friendly but I do like the old method of walking up, seeing the food being made and ordering myself. Price has definitely gone up. Now on the other hand the bar service was horrible ordered from the code waited in the hot sun under a umbrella that covered the ground instead of us for my beers that never came , my food came and still no beers. I had to walk up and ask for them, they didn't even have my order (wish I could get that tip back.) . Heads up there is a walk up window save your self the time and large tip the app suggests. * I really hate the fact that they ask you to order and tip before you get your food without knowing what kind of service you will be getting. **Bring back the old days where you tip according your service. Overall hard pass

I redownloaded Yelp to let you know how wack this place is. I was hyped becuase of what I saw on TV and picking out all the seafood you want for a massive seafood boil. Unfortunately I got some overpriced, small portion garbage. Most of this stuff I can make at home better and cheaper. I decided to get the calamari though and man, it was disappointing. Barely any fries, the fries are plain, the coleslaw juice sogged up everything, etc. My family was visiting out of town and I hyped this place up based on videos we saw from the news and YouTube. They left disappointed and dissatisfied. I'll give this place another chance when the building is built, but until then you're better off avoiding this place.

I love the San Pedro Fish Market! I first tried their food at the Little Italy's of Los Angeles Festa Italiana Street Festival last October and got hooked. This establishment has been around for decades and has consistently provided excellent food and generous portions at very fair prices. They recently opened a temporary location in the parking lot of the Maritime Museum in San Pedro and on a sunny warm it's great to sit outside enjoying a drink and their delicious fish plates while enjoying the view on the port of Los Angeles. Each employee I have ever interacted with is very professional. You can see that this is afamily-run business that deeply cares about supoporting the local community.

Ordering process was up on tech. But the food was blah and overpriced. Won't be returning
