Wow. My new favorite restaurant. I moved to the area three years ago, and how have I been sleeping on this place? They have everything dialed in: great service, fun atmosphere, and the most crave-able cuisine. Two weeks later, I'm still thinking about my chicken parmesan with the sneaky kick, and my boyfriend's tender, perfectly seasoned filet. They do the classics, but find ways to surprise you. Whatever you do, do not skip dessert. The coconut citrus pie, I want to say, is something between a key lime pie and Basque cheesecake, and it is one of the best desserts that I have ever tasted. Also, this might not be the first place you'd think to go for a perfect margarita, but the bartender can make you one. Shout out to our waiter, Brian, who was attentive, funny, and made us feel right at home.Parking: The hour that we went, the parking lot right across the street was free.

We fortunately had a reservation, as this place was extremely popular and crowded. The entrance passage is quite small. However, we were greeted by a very enthusiastic host! After a small wait, our table was ready! Served with fresh bread and olive oil. We're vegetarians, so we ordered the Bruscetta for the table, which was delicious. The Main Course, was the Pesto Gnocchi, The Cheese Ravioli which was super delicious!! It was a really delightful experience and our server was really helpful to get us vegetarian dishes too! Thank you! :)Vegetarian options: Gnocchi, Cheese Raviolli, BruscettaDietary restrictions: No meat, no fish, no eggs!Parking: Located just behind the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Extremely accessible by wheelchair to almost all the areas of the restaurant!

Always the best service and the food is fantastic!The owner, David is passionate about his restaurant and he has mastered consistency!I take my clients here and it's perfect for any reason.
Had no reservations so we sat at the bar and ended up eating there which was pretty nice! Our bartender's name was John and he was very top notch with his knowledge of wines, especially Italian wines, which he allowed us to sample and enjoy. We ended the night with dessert and some vermouth that was outstanding. Definitely recommend this place and try sitting at the bar if John is there...you'll enjoy it!

The thing about Il Davide is that they are consistently great. And that's over more than 20 years. Most restaurants falter at some point. They just can't maintain continued excellence. That's the reason they have been in business for so long and have such a dedicated clientele. They keep to the basics but do everthing very well. I've never had a bad meal over all these years. And their service is always decent as well. The owner is on site very often just making sure it keeps to the formula. You don't find many successes like this because most owners are just not that committed. Good job.

Food was remarkable. Everything we had was great. Calamari, bruchetta regular and with shrimp so good. Everyone loved their dinner. I had the Ragu gnocchi and my son said "it was best chicken Parm he ever had. (And we are from NY LOL) the owner David was really nice guy and very present
Il Davide is a wonderful local restaurant. The food is consistently good and the servers are great! You can tell they are very proud of their restaurant. Menu offers many options for all including GF.

Talk about being late to the party! I have lived in The North Bay for 16 years. Only last week I lunched at Il Davide for the very first time. Oh Ambrosia! Oh delectable delights! Oh Italia! Our entire party was thrilled and delighted with the food, the service, the ambiance, the restaurant. Among my guests was the scion of a Southern Italian restaurant family. She felt whole again. Did I misuse the word scion?

Food is great and reasonably priced. They have many menu options but their homemade pasta should be the go to! The texture and flavor is perfect and the ambiance makes you feel at home. We also tried some of the appetizers (burrata, tarta di porri, bruschetta), the salad and the triple chocolate brownie. The service is very friendly and accommodating.

Had a work dinner here on a Thursday night. Convenient parking structure just steps away. There is a second back room so it is bigger than it looks! The pasta was consistently good between all the dishes ordered. I preferred the pasta with the creamier sauces, but the gnocchi was pretty good too! But the ravioli might have been my winner for the night. Apps were pretty good, the leek quiche pastry app though was my favorite! Calamari really hit the spot as well. The berry bread pudding for dessert was amazing!! Def dont sleep on it!
