We just had the most delicious birthday lunch!! We had the curry ceviche, Pescado asada and trio enchilada—-highly recommend!!! Plus a DELICIOUS crema Catalana for dessert. We will absolutely be back!

My partner had originally wanted to go to Sol food but after seeing the line that went through the block, we decided to Google highly rated places in the area.I was secretly happy about this because I’m a shameless foodie who had my eye all over LaVier after reading the reviews and boy, weren’t we glad we did!I immediately gravitated towards the grilled trout because it looked amazing in the review photos while my partner opted for the beef selection and once again, man, was I glad I did!Holy moly…I had been snacking all day before we got there and I don’t usually have the biggest appetite but for some reason, I developed superhuman powers to finish most of my meal because it was heavenly.The Pescado Asado (Baked whole trout w/ citrus, herbs, rice & beans$28.00 ) insanely delicious and my partner couldn’t keep their hands off my plate!It was well seasoned and cooked to perfection with just the right amount of smokiness and salt, and well balanced with tanginess, sweet and herby-spiciness , topped with the most delicious seasoned rice and beans!I just wish the bones were edible because I was in denial that this delightful experience will eventually come to an end- so much so that I had to take home the remaining 1/4 of my meal (and bought the homemade salsa) so I can relive the experience once more- albeit just a 1/4 of it all.I highly HIGHLY recommend checking out this precious gem when you can because I still think about it today— 2 weeks after my meal.P.s. incredible service, warm hosts, and the place was decorated with character and heart. ❤️P.p.s. Sorry no photos because I don’t have the habit of taking them and I’m usually too excited to eat the damn thing. Oh well, maybe next time!

Went there for the first time for dinner. The decor is colorful and eclectic. The server was welcoming and attentive. I got the pan-seared salmon with veggies and polenta. My partner got the 3 enchiladas, each with a different sauce. Our meals were fantastic! When they say fusion, they mean it. The magic they create with different flavors is nothing short of amazing and very satisfying. We will definitely be back here again the next time we're in town.

Had a weird and generally unpleasant experience at LaVier. Our waiter was annoyed with our simple requests and never came back to check on us during our long wait for food to see if we wanted another drink or whatever. After 30+ minutes waiting for food (which they did warn us about) the order was wrong and they were hesitant to take it back even though I could not have been more clear about what I wanted. Won't be returning.

I love their outdoor dining area. It's like eating in the garden with all the lovely plants. My chilaquiles with chicken were delicious and my friend enjoyed her chile relleno. We will be back.Vegetarian options: Too many to name.
