So delicious with kind attentive service. I got the combo plate and each item was yummy. Usually it's a sea of beans with a blob of rice as a side note, but the beans and rice were stars themselves. The main choices were full of flavor and not overloaded with cheese and extra garnishes. We will definitely return if we are back this direction.

Ericka was awesome! She was always there when we needed anything. The food was delicious! As a Mexican, it hard to find authentic Mexican food. The food was super fresh and they had options for vegetarians. Our service pup was welcomed and they didn’t kick us out or anything. As a Mexican/Texan, I recommend this place.

Wow! I had no idea this spot existed and so happy that my friend introduced me. The guava margarita is divine; that perfect sweet and sour balance with the fresh fruit is the perfect sip throughout the meal. The cheese enchiladas are definitely in the top 4 I have ever had. Just the right amount of spice, cheesy goodness and the flavor forward red sauce.. simply divine! This is now my new casual mexican eatery in Marin, you bet I shall be back!

This is family's favorite restaurant. We also visit sabor a México almost each week. Everything we eat here is very good. My dads favorite plate is the taco's de lengua. The cocktails are also very good. The waiters are very nice so are the owners. Sabor a México is our 2nd house. Our favorite waitress is Ceci. Thank you Sabor A México for all the good food.

As someone obsessed with great Mexican food, this is probably my favorite Mexican spot in all of the Bay Area! The service is SO friendly (the staff always seem genuinely happy to be there serving their delicious food to their guests), the food is plated beautifully and tastes divine, and the margaritas are perfection. I'm so happy this place exists!

The service and ambiance is good. The quality of the food is good. However, I won't go back again. The spicy hot is too much for me. Not geared to my American taste buds. I love Mexican food but the heat is just too much here for me. It builds up as you eat and part way through the meal your lips and mouth are burning. I have tried it 5 times and no matter what I order it is to spicy hot. Sad!!

We were on vacation and savored some Mexican food for dinner. This restaurant was highly rated, and the menu selections looked good, so we took a chance and stopped by. Although we didn't have a reservation, the staff quickly arranged a table for us, and treated us with warmth and efficiency. The restaurant itself is very cozy and inviting, with tables spread out far enough so that the noise level was reasonable, unlike many other establishments. The food turned out to be the best we have had outside of Mexico. It all had a home-style flavor with just the right mix of spices. Everything from the soup to the enchiladas and burritos had quality ingredients and were cooked to perfection. We finished everything off with flan that was done just right; neither too hard nor too soft. Our family agreed that this restaurant was worth coming back for whenever we are in Marin.
